I thought they did show him fighting for his life, plus they found money in his apartment didn't they. I agree I was a bit puzzled watching last nights, as I wasn't sure if it was the episode before his holiday or the one after due to him being in perfect health after his near death attack. I know the epsiodes were changed last week, and I think his shooting was meant to have been this weeks epsiode. But do you think they haven't shown one that covered his recovery?

It was the one after I think because there was a comment made about whether he was well enough. I was a bit confused, but last weeks episode was changed to the one were he was shot due to recent news events. I suppose they didn't show the one that was origianally meant to be shown last week yesterday becasue it was about a Soilder dying and yesterday was Rememberance day. So when they do show the one that was meant to be on last two Fridays ago it will be as he hasn't even been shot. Are we all confused because I am

Last nights Taggart was very disappointing just when I thought it was picking up with the shooting the previous week. I love Jackie's character though, she's always on the ball.

I read in the papers that ITV had postponed the episode because it's theme was too similar to something that had happened in real life and they didn't want to upset anyone - can't for the life of me remember what it was though

they need to go wider afield, with they storylines... they've covered almost every subject... maybe bring in guest producers etc...

The episode was pulled because it features Robbie Ross going undercover to investigate deaths at an army training barracks. It was due to be aired the same week as the criticism of the Deepcut inquiry surfaced.

Ah right, I must live on another planet because I couldn't work out what the hell they were going on about when they said due to recent news events.

I never knew that! At least i now know why it was postponed.

I think Jackie's the best character. but i agree that they need to widen the field, and bring in someone on set or off set to give it some spark.

Must say that as much as I enjoy Taggart they could do with a bit of a life injection.

But having said that I love Jackies character. She has come a long way from that WPC in uniform clinging on to Jardine when she thought Jim Taggart had been blown up.

Needs some more characters in it definitely

I was thinking that. Gemma's her name, and didn't Robbie have a thing for her in the first epiosde ofthis series.
