Anyone know of any shops which sell the toppy in the Reading (Berkshire) area of the country?
I'd like to see one really before I make any decision.

thanks

They are not sold in "the shops" at the moment.

If you really want to see one, you can come out to my place - Spencers Wood.

There are some places that have them retail, though most tend to be regional chains, and I can't think of any in the Reading area.

The Euronics affiliates, which is a group of independent retailers, may have them in stock, www.euronics.co.uk

Call me old fashioned but I like to see before I buy as well.
I rang two branches of one of the chains mentioned on this page only to be told that they couldn't demonstrate the Toppy as they didn't have a strong enough aerial feed in the shop.
Now come on guys, do you want to sell equipment or don't you? Consequently, I went elsewhere!

I did try my local Euronics and they claimed not to be able to source them.....

This is unfortunate as I would have preferred to have bought locally if possible

Hughes stock them but only in their larger stores, they wouldn't let the local shop have any but I was told the Lowestoft store had them, AFAIK Hughes are only to be found in East Anglia though. fancy a holiday? <grin>
