To be honest, I don't think they're that great. BUT what I do find interesting is that Simon seems supportive of just about everybody, even Chico these days, above one of his own acts, the Conways. Makes me wonder if they're getting better voting figures than we might think , mainly coming from the irish vote.
Afterall, they've never been in the bottom two, and for anyone isn't in the bottom two, it's supposed to be random order, so who knows where they are in the rankings. Yeah, there's been viewer polls that put them quite low down in the pecking order, but alot of those polls, such as the GMTV poll, I don't think allow irish voters (plus the irish have their own breakfast shows anyway). Could the Conways be getting more votes in the show than his preferred option for the final rounds, Journey South? Is Simon scared they're going to push Journey South out, and that's why he won't praise them?
Who knows, with perhaps the help of alot of irish support, they could maybe make the rounds where only the public decide, and it could be all up for grabs then.
