I suspect if Nicholas doesn't raise his game significantly this week, it's going to be Nick v Chico in the bottom two. But who would you get rid of, Chico, who's singing isn't too clever, but who is arguably good entertainment, and perhaps the "anti-idol" choice. Or Nick, who's not a bad singer, but who for most people is rather annoying and has had a charisma bypass.

I think on balance, I'd give Nicholas the boot, just. Who would you give the boot to?

I could understand if you said Maria and Andy in the bottom 2, but not Chico and Nicholas.

That's never likely to happen, considering the exceptional talents of both Chico and Nick.

Actually, my problem with Nicholas is his singing. He seems like a nice enough guy - much more so than Mr Ego (Chico).

I think Nicholas might be one in the bottom 2 tonight along with, Conway Sisters or Chico. Just 4 hours to wait until we will find out.

Karl marks, i have been reading alot of these threads and have found everything you say on these forums ridiculous! how can you say chico is exceptionally talented when he is quite literally as entertaining as my little toe, and then how can you even THINK of saying he is better than maria and andy! his name doesnt even deserve to be used in the same SENTENCE as the likes of andy or maria, i could understand you saying these things if you were deaf, as chico may be a bit entertaining if u couldnt hear what was coming out of his mouth, and u wouldnt be able to hear nicholas's hissy fits so he might look allright, plus he isnt too bad on the eyes anyway.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Andy will sail through tonight, as he's singing and more contemporary song which is pretty popular and well known. I think he might even get a few more fans for singing I'll Make Love To You, as the teenagers who thought he was pretty old-fashioned, might see him in a different light. I'm being really optimistic lol!
I think we can almost guarantee Sharon will lose an act tonight as she still has all four. I think Chico will just about scrape through tonight, as he's singing a ballad and he too might gain a few more votes because of this. I'm pretty certain Brenda will be safe too as she is really popular. So that just leaves Maria, who has an awful song anyway that won't do her any favours!

If they are in the bottom 2 tonight then Simon will get the casting vote again and I think he will send Chico home.

Nicholas was pretty poor tonight but Chico was infinitely worse. He's overstayed his welcome and he's got to go.

I wouldn't say worse. I was disappointed because he sounded better in rehearsals (probably put off by the wind machine! ) Out of the two, I preferred Chico's performance even though it wasn't great.
