Here here well said. Its only a bit of fun And my votes are as follows

8 Colin & Erin
7 Darren & Lilia
6 Bill & Karen
5 James & Camilla
4 Zoe & Ian
3 Anton & Patsy
2 Will & Hanna
1 Dennis & Isabella ( although it did make me laugh)

Forgive my babble, but wanted to add my thoughts on the performances...

8: Colin & Erin
By a long way. Sorry Zoe fans, but I don't understand the fascination with the Zoe n' Ian show. I didn't like their samba at all. Colin and Erin were extraordinary to watch. Not perfect - lost sync with each other a couple of times - but from the heart and soul, and with natural grace, joy and everything a samba is supposed to be.

7: James & Camilla
Better than they were given credit for being. Yes James is too stiff, and he still had that "tango hand", but there was plenty of grace and heart in their waltz.

6: Darren & Lilia
A very close call between Darren and James. Darren was possibly technically better, but James and Camilla gave a more engaging performance.

5: Bill & Karen
Amazing performance, considering the sprain. That had to ***ing hurt. I'm starting to think that Bill's a dark horse to watch.

4: Zoe & Ian
Yeah yeah blah blah. Agree with marmyte.

3: Will & Hanna
Will is also too stiff and it seemed unnatural, but I don't think it was nearly as bad as the scores suggested.

2: Patsy & Anton
Sorry, I don't think she has any grace at all. The most overrated of the lot.

1: Dennis & Isabella
Dad dancing at a wedding. And not a dad who goes to ballroom classes.

Well I like the thread (even if I broke the rules by babbling in my post!)

Part of the enjoyment of SCD is that we all have our own idea of how the couples did, and of where we agree/disagree with the judges.

as other people have said, we all have different opinions. patsy isn't my favourite by a long way, but i think she's entertaining, and i thought zoe was horrendous last night and couldn't believe how much the judges praised her. in all honesty i agree with what some people have said in that it was quite average last night and i think some of them peaked too soon in the competition. i came very close to putting darren and lilia top because i've been voting for them the whole time, but that wouldn't have been honest of me

and yes, actually, i am having a "larf" because it's just a bit of fun

I do believe that Bill & Karen gave the most entertaining performance. I was excited by them - not because they were my favourites because they have excited me through their performance. They made me smile the most which means their DANCE made me smile the most which in my opinion makes them have the best dance of the night.

I thought Colin was excellent but didn't blend as well with Erin - he snaked a bit too much. I enjoyed Zoe & Ian and thought at the time "yes, she's doing really well". When I watched Bill & Karen my reaction was more like "Wow! They're doing that! And the end was amazing!" I beamed from start to finish and who do I want to rewind my video to watch.. you got it.. Bill & Karen.
We are after all voting for our favourite COUPLE not our favourite celebrity and I think that Bill & Karen are the most COUPLE-like of all of the competitors.

Zoe & Ian - 8
Colin & Erin - 7
James & Camilla - 6
Darren & Lillia - 5
Bill & Karen - 4
Will & Hannah - 3
Patsy & Anton
Dennis & Izabella

Basically, Zoe & Ian were far better than everyone else. Colin over did the hip action - made Erin look ordinary. The obvious chemistry between James & Camilla helps them look so good. Darren surprises me every week. Bill did well considering that foot. Will wasn't as good as I had expected. Patsy and Anton - what the heck was that?

Finally, Dennis should have gone weeks ago.

Don't agree with every word of that, but it beautifully summed up Saturday's show.

Can you do that every week please?
