Its obvious they want him to win....He was off key and terrible tonite,but he is the type of person that can sell the records,unfortunatly its about looks now.
If you go back a little while,we had singers that wernt drop dead gorgeous or even good looking in some cases,but they could sing........

I think that Shayne will make it to the final definitely, but I think Maria will win. If Shayne or Maria were in the bottom two with any other act, then the judges would save these two. Brenda is bloody fantastic, but Simon wouldn't save her because he's said a number of times that he doesn't think she'd be a good recording artist.
In Pop Idol, Gareth was a clear favourite to win, but everything can change on the final night.
Although I don't like Shayne, I think a Shayne and Maria final would be brilliant and I think Maria would win.

I think when it gets down to the final 4, it's whoever has the lowest votes that does. That's how Rowetta went.

I remember Will overtaking Gareth as the favourite during the final 10 phase, and he remained the favourite until The Sun did a poll which had Gareth well ahead. All the online polls had Will ahead most weeks, which the voting figures that were released afterwards proved correct.
