... To be put through the agony of a commercial break when it is done in 'random' order.
Why not do it on number of votes cast then at least it is the genuine bottom 3 waiting to find out.

I can't believe we still have to debate this. Kate says EVERY WEEK the acts voted back for next week's show IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER are....

The only significance in the order is that the last TWO have the lowest number of votes. The third act left standing could be ANYWHERE in the voting order.

Well if Journey South were in the bottom 3, while other acts like Chico and Nicholas got more votes then we are in trouble I think.

I think Kate did say that the voting was very close between the bottom 3, so I presume JS were amongst the bottom three.

i think they had journey south as the last safe act so during the ad break the public were left wondering if simon had two acts in the bottom 2. be surprised if they were 3rd from the bottom but then i never thourght maria would be in the bottom so who knows. we probobly never will

I think they often put a popular act in the bottom 3 to keep viewers attention during the break. I remember Steve, G4 and Tabby being in the bottom 3 a few times last year when they clearly were more popular than others who were called out before them. There is no way the likes of Nicolas and Chico got more votes than JS.

The only other consistency is that the act that survived the judges vote the previous week is usually the first name to be called - as with Nicholas this week
