Well, he's got to say something that's good, or at least worth acknowledging, this evening.

Maybe he could take inspiration from the lead singer of the Conways, as someone else so wonderfully observed, she looks like Justin Hawkins

OMG!!!!
Shayne and The Darkness this cannot be possible....... I have just bought tickets to go see the Darkness on tour next year, but I think they would have been better off selling tickets to see Shayne make a pigs breakfast lunch and dinner of a perfectly good song. Still, maybe I shouldn't put him down till I've heard him?? It's just I'm so sure that he's blown it for himself already.....*sigh* |

I think that is a big mistake for Shanyne and Louis. If anything to go by what he did with Summer Of 69 and Cry Me A River, he is not going to get many votes.
Sad really cause I like Shayne. |

I didn't see Cry Me A River, but I did see Summer of 69 and I like that song sooo much, i don't see why everyone says he ruined it, I bet they couldn't do much better on 'live' tv on a Saturday Night. I think he did good.
Know what I'm talkin' about Happy Girl?

Much as I love Shayne I believe if he sings The Darkness song he may find himself in the bottom two. Its just not the type of song he should be singing and I cant imagine the Saturday night viewing audience liking it that much either. Simon Cowell has the right idea now. Its all about songchoice.

He shouldn't be allowed to sing songs by two people called "Justin" in any two weeks!

Know what I'm talkin' about Happy Girl? ![]() What a stupid argument. I didn't criticise his performance of Summer of 69 (can't remember it, to be honest) but aren't a Shane fan, but of course I can't do much better on live tv on Sat night. That is because I can't sing and couldn't think of anything worse than being on a reality programme. Doesn't mean I'm not entitled to an opinion. Everyone has different skills in life. There are plenty of people who criticise doctors, for example - just because they couldn't do better themselves doesn't mean they're not entitled to complain if they don't think they've got a good service! |

I think most the finalists bar conways and chico are neck and neck as to who could win and any of them could go depe nding on what they sing. |

I really hope Shane does sing that Darkness song (I Believe In A Thing Called Love, I believe), as it will definitely spell the beginning of the end for him, and will definitely be in the Bottom Two. I don't think he will be booted out, because I have a feeling Chico will also be in the Bottom Two, and will be Chico who FINALLY goes (after two weeks in the Bottom Two) next week!

So Shayne is singing the Darkness and this is good news because...??
might be interesting viewing though, some say he shaved his head to be more like JT so do we think he'll be donning purple spangled lycra and hair extensions for his impression of JH? |

![]() Don't be so daft. She's a lovely looking girl (not that I'm saying Justin is a minger). I suppose you think Gumby Lawson is good looking. |

Slightly OT but One of the funniest things on the week before's 24/7 was when the CS went for a hair makeover and they all came out looking exactly the same as before they went in.
