She did the best ANYONE could've done with that song, bar Mick Jagger.
She was the most talented person on the show. |

this performance was bad but she should have stayed on ALL her other performances.
wouldnt surprise me if was decided by producers. usually louis wud take any opportunity to screw simon over by getting rid of his act even if they r irish. |

if they stepped off the stage and went "haaaaaa haahaaa showed you simon" (conway sisters im referring too) compared to Maria who appreciated the comments made about her. How would you then base your judgement? |

I know
All the other weeks she has done amazing and even this week wasnt bad. Unlike the conways who have done rubbish every week. |

I disagree. I thought it was her best performance so far by a long long way

This was not her best performance (it was still FAR from rubbish), but she has been superb in previous weeks and easily outranks the likes of the Conways, Nicholas and Chico!

I know they say that you're only as good as your last song, but no-one has done a better performance throughout the whole series than her version of 'You're Beautiful'.
The Conway Sisters might be capable of performing better, but they haven't shown it so far despite their promises. Maria outclassed them every time, including tonight. |

I preferred Nicholas and Chico to be honest but they were all poor tonight and someone had to go so Maria was fair game......

louis voted her off because she was the bigest competition to shayne and this was his opportunity - conways will be gone next week

for me i wasnt fussed who went out of the bottom two tonight. Bothof them do nothing for me they havent got the umph tht makes me think wow that was great like some of the other contestants but in a way i am glad it was maria because one i saw her as competion to my favourite acts, two i think she and brenda needed bringing down a peg or two and her leaving will make brenda realise tht n e thing could happen and three hopefully the shock of maria leaving will mean that the other contestants pull out all the stops to mkae their performances great next week so it should be a good show.

I have this funny feeling that Maria's exit was engineered just like Chenai's.
If you think back to last week's 24/7 show where Brenda Maria and Chenai had the argument about Brenda and Maria both being older than Chenai. This cast Chenai in a bad light and subsequently she was booted from the show last Saturday, after performing a bad song. Similarly, on this week's 24/7 Maria was portrayed as rather bolshie when deciding what song to sing. It was like saying she may be all sweet and light on the surface, but this is how she really is. Plus she had a bad song choice, and truthfully you could hardly hear her strong voice at times above the noise of the music and backing singers. |

The song was one of the worst song choices ever chosen on a show like The X Factor. Also, if Maria had a really big fanbase, then they would've kept her in, no matter how bad the song or her performance were.

Probably because they thought she was safe. The Conways, Nicholas and Chico were more likely to be in the bottom two, but their supporters realised that and voted to keep them in (Nicholas and Chico that is) |

It wasnt her best performance, BUT, her past performances were awesome, Youre Beautiful and The Way you make me feel; being the best! And for her to go over The Conways, Chico and Nicholas is an utter travesty!
