No. He isn't brilliant. He is an entertainer, talent shows always fail because the winning artist - MOST of the time always fails after a few months - Chico will do the same. They need someone with talent, not someone who's entertainment factor will run out after a few months. He killed a good song tonight, and I hope he just does what he does best next week, entertain.

His was the worse performance I have ever had the misfortune to watch.

I agree about his performance, I didn't particularly like the song as it didn't suit him (what was all that smoke machine?? )

Again I agree. I am his fan and I voted for him so he stays in the competition but didn't like his performance tonight.

Noticed that he mentioned on Xtra factor that he was singing the song for a friend who had cancer. Neither Ben nor anyone else had anything to say to him when he said that. God forbid that he was trying to get sympathy votes.

we were discussing this yesterday mmcd. ALL OF THEM use sympathy card at one point or another. Wouldn't you if you were there?

Well, if I was his friend I would hope that it was a genuine reason and not to gain extra votes.

I thought what Sir Trevor McDonald said was a good point about those who perform the song rather than actually mean it. I think if Chico had managed to stay still and serious he might (just) have pulled it off but the fact that he couldn't resist a bit of a dance and a cheeky grin completely ruined the whole mood of the song.

Even Chico seemed surprised that he was still there. I thought him singing a ballad would finally show the public that he was hiding behind his dodgy dancing!

He was garbage

Yeah, it did exactly that, showed the public he was just hiding behind his dodgy dancing. That's exactly what he should keep doing from now on, too!

Or just hide!

He showed how talentless he is the minute he wasn't doing his usual stripper performance.

His voice is awful. Trying to sing that beautiful Enrique song just completely proved why he doesn't belong in this competition. He's getting voted in every week because he's built up a "fan club". Not because he's a talented singer.

This same "fan club" won't be buying his records because listening to that even in the privacy of your own home would be ear-piercingly painful.

So all those people who will be moaning every week that their favourite artist has gone do have a legitimate complaint. Because Chico has taken a place that rightfully belongs to someone else.

The sad and worrying thing is that he could win. Not because he's the best just because he's built up a fan club of people who like a good laugh.
