If that's true, isn't that to his credit?

Absolutely

One True Voice boys actually could sing, they just had to sing the wrong songs and were given the wrong image from Pete. I would go as far as to say, they are better singers then the girls.

They were easily more talented, vocally, than the girls. But their image was all wrong, and the songs, styling etc. I also think that the music world didn't want another boy-band, let alone one from a tv show, so they didn't stand a chance.

I don't think they were amazing, and even with good songs, I just don't think there was a place for them, but not getting in is a lucky escape, not something to be proud of!

Perhaps they thought he was too tall for a boyband. I think they generally like them all about the same height.

You are kidding aren't you?

There was one really tall one and one really short one in OTV. Maybe they should have picked them all the same height, but they didn't. They didn't match at all.

On the Live vote shows when Shayne is stood next to Louis he doesn`t appear to be `tall`.

Totally agree. Keith, Anton and Daniel were amazing singers. Far better than the girls and much better than many people I have seen in many such shows.

Without a shadow of a doubt they are better singers than the girls. At least four of them that is (Anton, Daniel and Keith, and I personally would also include Matt), as opposed to two of the girls who can actually sing (Nadine and Nicola).

I don't even think they were given the wrong songs as such. As a song, their first single was better than the girls. How many acts have gone wrong with the combination of Pete Waterman and a Bee Gees cover? None up until One True Voice, and their second single was a decent song.

Unfortunately, the media decided to back the girls and deride the boys and in this country of sheep that is pretty much end of story.

I can understand why Shayne only got to the last 30 boys. Even now, I would not have put him through.

Is that why Anton got through? He is very short, isn't he?

Matt was 17 and Jamie was 16.

I didn't know that. I don't see anything wrong in that. Everyone in any kind of job has to try and try and have to start from somewhere.

Daniel, Anton and Keith all had great voices. Jamie was soooo sweet and I think Matt was supposed to be the good looking one. Shayne could have easily replaced Matt as he is much prettier and would have better filled the role of "the good looking one".

I agree. their lack of success was down to Pete Waterman - nothing else.
