In todays NOTW,alongside the EE story it also says that Janice Battersby will win the lottery then die.
I can't wait for her to leave,she has changed so much since she first started.

I can't stand her either. Just hope she leaves her winnings to Leanne.

I love Janice, I can't believe they axed her She is still as funny as ever imo, the writers just don't seem to want to give her any big storylines. The actress is one of the best in the show.

I agree Drifter I love Janice - she's a great comedy actress and I have met lots women just like her - tough, family orientated and brutally funny - she is spot on. Obviously she was supposed to get back with Les and with Leanne returning the Battersbys would have been reunited. However, the popularity of Cilla has pushed her out.

i dont like janice but this is harsh.
leanne shouldnt get the money, she dont deserve it.
it should go to janices favourite charity.

I love Cilla, but Les is diabolical. How the hell can he survive whilst Janice goes? Seems the writers aren't capable of giving her storylines whilst she's single. She's just as good at dramatic stuff as she is comedy, which you can't say about Bruce Jones (Les).

This decision is as bad as Sunita going imo, and we have tons of new characters I couldn't give a toss about, like Nathan. I hate to jump on a bandwagon but there seem to be so many annoying things going on in Corrie lately.

The factory won't be half as good without Janice.

Really? Aww, even though I'm not overly keen on Janice, I think she should have had a happy ending. Maybe it happens at Christmas time.

I agree about the Cilla Les combo. I like Cilla but she is let down by having to have Les in most of her scenes.

Janice used to be a good character (although never one of my favourites) and during the Dennis storyline she did some great stuff. But she has been a spare part for a long while now, and they have made her intensely unlikeable IMO, so I will be pleased to see her leave - and I don't really care one way or the other whether she dies or not.

Also, could they not have brought back Toyah. I'm sure Georgia could have been pursuaded. Janice played a great part in the rape storyline.

i went to pub in HULL other day and 3 tasty girls sat close to me all were drinking pint's larger, must be me.

According to the notw she films her last scenes in February.

I can't believe that Janice is to be killed off. I have not watched Corrie for 2 months because I'm never in... I'm even missing episodes of FA by accident!!! So I'm taping corrie too, I'm not missing Janice's last moments as I have Candice's!

Him too (apparently); although Vicki Entwistle has "allegedly" been in trouble several times before, so I suppose it was once too many for the bosses.
