I think Shayne's rendition of "Cry Me A River" was awful. Sorry but I do not rate this guy at all.

As much as I can't be bothered with Shayne, he doesn't deserve to be voted out just yet.
Nicholas, Chico, and The Conways have to next. Chico should have been out in the first week, Nicholas should have been out last week, and The Conways should have been out on Saturday. It's a shame that the ones who actually have talent (yes, I think Shayne has talent) have to go before the ones who struggle every week, |

I like Shayne, he can sing, it might not be to everyone's taste, but that goes for some of the others too. He hasn't given one wobbly performance yet, he's consistant and obviously talented.
If you don't like him fine, but there's no denying that he's one of the top four left. |

Don't know about colluding to vote him off
BUT his performance of JT's "cry me a river" was awful . How can someone that can't dance perform a song like that

He didn't even try and the backing dancers were equally mediocre . There's no denying Shayne can sing- I've got no problem with his voice- but since I'm one that loves a good performance, dancing an all, I can easily vote for Chico over Shayne cos of the entertainment value .

To those who worry that they are alone in thinking that Shayne is talentless ----- Worry no more-I think there are truly many of us - indeed we may well be the majority

Oh! When did he shoot you puppy than?I can understand being upset as I can't stand Justin Trousersnake either, but that's a bit strong about someone that has done NOTHING personally to you. He has also probably never heard of you either! |

All Mad
What is wrong with you all. I cant see this hatred for Shayne, dont know what he has done, perhaps maybe though coming from the North doesnt help him, the North/South Divide...???
He is a young man with a talent and more talent to come from him, for gods sake give him a chance. Get rid of Nicholas, CHico and the COnways. |

Louis is quoted as saying he thinks he made the wrong decision on Saturday. Is this because he is now worried for his own two acts whom the public may not vote for in protest.

I think Shayne's a good singer (tho not at all cute.. very average) I think he will go on several more weeks yet, barring a disaster. Nicholas, The Conways and Chico HAVE to go before he does!

Simon and Louis are desperate for Shayne to win. Simon will be playing down that fact though - he has learnt from his mistake of over-championing Gareth Gates in PI1.
Shayne will sell records to the little girls, and probably sell a decent amount of his debut album. Will it be a long term career though? Doubtful. These programmes are not about selling records anymore. |

I found Simon's comments about him being the most successful male singer in the UK very weird. Shayne might have one successful album due to the teen girls and gay fans he has picked up but after that he will burn out just like Gareth Gates did. The hype around his so called talent has all ready started to go against him. So a backlash against Shayne is highly likey.

![]() I'd pay good money to see Shayne out on his little proverbial but I can't see it happening. The judges would keep him in. |

but well deserved for the likes of Simon . Who knows? Perhaps, Simon is doing all this on purpose a la Gareth Gates |
