Corrie is slightly limping at the moment, some people believe it's become a bit of a farce, too reliant on comedy and all in all a bit of a panto.


I would axe Cilla, Les, Nathan, the twins, Molly, Sarah Lou and DEV.

I would give characters like Rita and Eileen bigger storylines to show their brilliant talent. also, I would make better use of Jenny Platt aka Violet.

firstly I would comission three slow burning storylines with the above three actors that would, eventually intertwine and involve a lot of people. A nice range there from old to young would appeal to all

comedy would be woven carefully into the DRAMA - yes you read right, drama.

Axe all the thin Characters. That should give them enough storylines to last them a while.

i dont think has become crap.
its just that eastenders is a bit better at the moment.
the one that needs to walk properly is emmerdale.

I would bring back karen, I haven't liked corrie since she left for some reason. I agree about making better use of violet and eilleen I really like them. I'd cut down on all the comedy they are doing. I'd axe all the new characters I don't like any of them + claire. I haven't enjoyed corrie this year tbh maybe next year will be better it looks like they have some interesting storylines coming up, I hope they do them well.

Dont worry about Corrie ,it will still be going strong in another 45 years,all soaps have a lean time

Corrie has very bad new characters. Just look at all the ones joining EE at Christmas and new year then look at all the ones joining/who have joined Corrie. Ronnie rubbish Nathan Rubbish the twins rubbish. Expalins it all.

What the hell has EE to do with corrie new characters for EE all bloody old hat has beens

I still like Corrie. There are some good storylines coming up.



But Eastenders is a hell of a lot better at the moment than Corrie. But it looks like it will improve soon.

I'd just like to say before I start I'm a Corrie fan. But it has become a bit farcical and a lot of pointless characters need axing:

But getting rid of Sunita is a mistake and they should keep Ronnie. I agree about Violet as well. She's great.

Violet is the best thing to have happend to Corrie in ages. She truly is a breath of fresh air.

Are you kidding?

Emmerdale is way the most consistant soap of the three. It doesn't have up/down periods like Corrie/EE but good, well written storylines and drama. Plus it has to churn out another 2 episodes per week more than EE with a much smaller budget.
