i'd give david platt a drug problem, as a follow on from his drunk at school antics.

Maybe craig could be a smack-head?

I'd get rid of some of these dodgy characters like that baker, and that dog girl and perhaps bring in a stream of fresh faces, perhaps a new young group of around 16-20 seeing as most of the young ones have left. i'd also axe ken and deirdre, and sally and kev.

Ken,Deidre,Sally,Kevin,Fred ,Emily, and Mike are the cornerstones of the soap, they keep us in touch with the past

Corrie needs more violence.

They really need to bring back Maya and have her go on a revenge killing spree or just get her to move in and be a soap bitch.

Before I start, can i just say I'm a fan of all 3 soaps so...

I don't think Corrie has gone downhill as dramatically as EE did but I think at the minute, all 3 soaps are fantastic and the ratings show that. However, Corrie is still great but it's not as good as it was last year - axe characters like the twins, Lloyd (don't get it), and Molly and Diggory. Plus, I think cartoon characters are taking over the street. I probably wouldn't notice if Homer Simpson and Bugs Bunny walked into the Rovers and asked for Betty's Hotpot!! Tone down Les and Cilla!

Getting rid of Cilla, Diggory and Battersby would be quite sufficient at the moment.

Kill Off The Soap Altogether If Mayas Not Gonna Come Back Cos Corrie Is Going Nowhere Fast!

Axing characters doesn't improve the show. I don't know why so many people think it does.

If they focus on quality rather than quantity they'd be fine. I'd like more drama and less comedy.

OK - what would you do with Maya or Richard Hillman??
How would they fit into the street?

A one off appearance maybe for a bit of revenge, but that would be it.

Agreed, We all know Maya is out of prison and healthy as she was on 'Casualty' on BBC1
We should start a petition to get her back on the Cobbles. They should axe Diggory and Maya could be the new owner of the Bakery!

Definately axe an episode each week - but I can understand ITV don't want to kill the goose that lays the golden egg...

Same can be said for Emmerdale... too many episodes!

IT'S OVERKILL!

Well as Mad Maya is ...... how can I put this....
MAD
she cannot come back and be with Dev.
Remember the little detail of torching all the shops & trying to kill them both ??

As for Richard Hillman coming back, would be an interesting idea for a 'quick fix'. But then what?

Yknow how manipulative maya is & he did fancy her once & love her!! I think itd be a great storyline for her to lure him back & then go out and kill sunita, dev would be completely unaware, having lost contact with sunita anyway.
