sorry if this is a repeat but i can't find the information anywhere - what are the dances next week and any of the following weeks? just curious because there was no show dance last night from the professionals (presumably because the results show was quite short) and do we know when the couples are going to start dancing two dances each week? that all sounds a bit confusing, oh well!

Those who haven't danced Quickstep will do that and those who haven't danced Rumba will do that I think. Along with a group Salsa. But I may be wrong.

So that means that Patsy and Anton will be doing the... Rumba?

Not more latin dance, please! Bring back Anton in his tie and tails.

Heard it from a friend who was there last night. Also Bill said on Breakfast (yesterday I think it was) that next week he would be dancing the Rumba.

Bill said on Breakfast this morning it would be a group Samba and that he's doing the Rumba.

excellent, thanks guys...so i guess we can assume that:

november 19th:
bill & karen, darren & lilia, colin & erin, james & camilla, will & hanna - rumba
zoe & ian, patsy & anton - quickstep
group salsa

november 26th (should they remain in the show):
bill, darren, colin, james, patsy - jive
zoe, will - tango

december 3rd:
bill, darren, colin, james - foxtrot
zoe, will, patsy - paso doble

december 10th SEMI FINAL:
bill, darren, james, will, zoe - samba
patsy, colin - viennese waltz

FINAL: whichever three are in it choose their favourite latin and favourite ballroom to repeat it, then do a show dance if they make it to the final two...

however, this list is excluding the jitterbug and the argentine tango (i'm so confused about this tango business to be honest) plus next week they're repeating the dances of week two - what's happened to week one?!?

i think i'm making a mistake trying to second guess it all and we may just have to wait and see

Last year, toward the end, each couple had to do two dances per week. The argentine tango and jitterbug should feature somewhere.

Although at the moment it looks like the BBC don't know what they are doing.

I'm sure last year we didn't have the Samba, Jitterbug, and the argentine tango weird that they're adding sum dances, plus the VW was a group dance, they BBC are determind to confuse us all!!!

Speaking to Darren last night he said they were all doing two dances - and that he was doing the jive and he wasn't sure what else - possibly rumba !!

Two dances would make sense now the original 12 are down to 6 - programme is no shorter - double the opportunity to see Darren and Colin for me!!

ok the extra dances are presumably because this time there are more competitors - there used to be ten couples i think and this year there were 12.

i did mention the waltz and cha cha cha elisabeth, just in a note at the end i based my schedule on them doing week 2s dances next week and following on from there, but i think with the addition of new dances and all sorts going on we can't second guess what will happen

the BBC are confused i think because before they've had all the women and all the men do the same dances, but now they've got most of the women out and there's a huge imbalance, which they tried to correct by shifting people around a bit but it hasn't really worked now that they've got to do the dances which they haven't done already. i guess we'll have to wait until ITT tomorrow

They can't be doing a straight swap on week 1 or 2s dances as there aren't enough female celebs left to alternate latin and ballroom (if you know what I mean).

They have to fill in their missing dances. I expect the BBC never thought they would have a 5/2 male/female split when it came to this, so it is going to be a bit lopsided. You can't have some couples doing the same dance twice beforew the finale.

The extra dances are for the extended format but they are obvilously the group dances for the next three weeks. This is also the reason why the VW became an individual dance this time.

I would expect the jitterbug to be on the week that the tango is danced and the Argentinian tango on the week that the jive is danced.
