Sorry but I can't resist it any longer.......
Maria is out
One down, one to go :Sorry, I have tried to control myself and my true feelings and be eloquent and diplomatic about last night's result but in the end I thought I would react with all the tact, decorum and grace of Sharon Osbourne and Maria's friends and family. |

You go for it. Release those negative feelings.
I'll be dancing round a maypole when Shayne leaves. |

All the fawning over her and the misguiding of her fans, family, friends and herself into believing she was in with a chance was so cruel that I'd feel sorry for her if she hadn't got on my t!t$ so much from day 1.

I'm sooooooo glad someone has created a thread about this! Thank you Acashoonhay! I've been containing my excitement of Maria leaving for hours now! I've been waiting for this sweet moment for weeks and it's finally here- not before my favourite Chenai leaving of course... ah, the irony...

Exactly how I felt. I was so sure that Louis would save Maria that I actually laughed out loud when he chose to save the Conways - not cos I like the Conways I can't stand them - but because it was great entertaining TV. Then when everyone was so hideous as to sit there in front of the Conways and say what a terrible decision it was and how Maria should still be there (with not a word for the "poor Conways" it made me laugh even more. I loved Sharon's tantrum as well - Ithought she was going to do a rumplestiltskin and stamp her foot that much she would disappear through the stage.

Anyway does anyone know if Shayne got hit by a bus? i asked a couple of times before. ![]() I have nothing against Maria; I actually really liked her in the early auditions; it was when she sung Since You've Been Gone at Sharons house that put me off her, as I can't stand the song and didn't think it suited her at all. Her lack of conviction and stage presence when she performs also made me doubt how good she is. She just leaved me cold. Yeah she can sing, but so what? She doesn't have the whole package ie- a personality, fantastic voice, stage presence, charisma etc. For me, Brenda ticks all of those boxes, which is why she is far better. I'm sure Maria will get a record contract, and rightly so as she is talented. But in a show like the X Factor, you need more than just good looks and a good voice. You need to be able to connect with the audience watching to make people want to pick up the phone and vote for you. The reason why I'm so happy about her leaving is because it's a way of me getting my revenge on Chenai leaving. I mentioned this in an earlier post about the irony of it all. I actually precidicted this outcome a few days ago, and am amazed that I was right because I got it so wrong last week!

I am so glad someone made this thread because I was happy that Maria went and judging by the amount of people here who thought Louis was wrong I thought I was the only one who thought he was right. She was boring. Yesterday night was wicked, Louis made the right decision!!!!

hmm..! Yeah ok I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion..!! Planet Earth I think because I agree. Since when was a wide mouth unattractive? Julia Roberts and others have made a career out of it. So glad to see the slimmer darker version of Miss Piggy out of the competition and not a moment too soon. |

Last week people were saying that Nicholas was in the bottom two because it was Bonfire Night and most of his fans would have been out. Understandable when you consider what his target audience is likely to be. What is the excuse for Maria being in the bottom two, other than that she is unpopular? If millions of people loved her, why was she in the bottom two? Face it, musical and physical attributes or shortcomings aside, she always came across as immensely dislikeable. How do you know that Maria didn't get the lowest number of votes and how do you know that it wasn't by a huge margin? |
