Eastenders: The Vic and The Mitchells
OK so if I got this right, Sharon has now offered the Vic to the Mitchells (even though it isn't yet officially in her name.)But my question is...
How can Phil afford to buy the Vic? I would value the pub at around £750,000 yet I thought Sam lost all their money?

Maybe he has money tied up somewhere? Or maybe we aren't meant to know the answers to these questions because it's soap.
Or she could have offered it to him at a knockdown price because it isn't like she needs the money.

no, dennis firmly said 'it's yours for a fair price', ie don't mess us around on the price.
I think that they should show grant and phil in with the bank manager arranging a loan, that'd be hilarious. |

More to the point, what makes Sharon think that the Vic belongs to her?
Even if all the legalities had been sorted out in record time surely Vickie would own part of it. |

Maybe Sharon is classed as Den's second next of kin - Chrissie gave up that title when she shoved a doggy doorstop into his skull?? I don't know, it's best if we don't think of these things...

By the sounds of it, Den would have left the pub to Sharon in his will anyway and no one else would have got a look in. This is what it's probably based on - remember the quote from that episode: 'This pub is for me and my daughter, the only way you'll get me out of here is in a pine box'... got that one right really didn't he!

well considering that the Mitchells have lost the Vic 3 times now, they must have splashed out millions over the years getting it back! and if they care soo much about it, why did Phil sell it for £5 to Dan Sullivan?
