When a really boring programme is sandwiched in between two good ones to make you watch it.

I think that is because it is funny and people on here are afraid of laughing. Why don't you just watch something else or turn over when it is on?

Wasn't that sarcasm? lol

I don't mind Creature Comforts, what I CAN'T understand is why they have moved Emmerdale to start ten minutes earlier (which most people will inevitably forget) just for a 10 minute claymation thing.

Why don'y they put creature comfots on at 6:50, before emmerdale, instead of changing emmerdales starting time. It doesn't make sense!

Becuase most people put ITV on at 7pm when the soaps start - so if they put ti on at 7.20pm people watch it and wait for Corrie - it gives more viewers! But i agree!

Obviously its so people will keep watching right through from 6.50pm-8.00pm and will increase the viewing figures of Creature Comforts than if it was on at 6.50pm.

It is pointless for the viewers though but makes good business sense to ITV. Its only for 10 minutes though, go and make a coffee or something!

Didn't Creature Comforts get something like 8m viewers last week? It's a great move to put it on at such a good time.

I did. I'd rather not have to do that though, I'd prefer Emmerdale and Coronation Street to run consecutively like they used to.

As other people have said, Creature Comforts is totally pointless. It will only gain ratings because Emmerdale fans are waiting for Corrie.

It should have went on either at 6:50 (people would tune in at 7) or 8pm (people would turn over at 8) to avoid being annoying.

Exactly, and by putting it in this slot viewing figures will remain high than if it was on before Emmerdale. I dont know why they dont just get rid of Emmerdale full stop on Sunday, could have the news at 7pm followed by Creature Comforts at 7.20pm.

I like Corrie and Emmerdale on a Sunday, it's tradition now.

If they had to get rid, then they should drop one on a Monday or a Wednesday.

Monday and Fridays are the best days for soaps - they will never get rid of one on them days.

Sometimes Emmerdale isn't on, on a Sunday though.

Its on most Sunday's though, and when it gets dropped there are usually hour long episodes on a Tues/Thurs at some point to make up for it.

Its getting stupid now, how much longer do we have to put up with 6 episodes a week???

I think they put it there because it isn't that popular, and people will leave their TV on and make a cup of tea or something so the ratings will go up for the show. I dont like it and cannot see the point of it.

I like it being on 6 times a week. Anyone would think they were torturing you with it.

Well I dont. Its completely ridiculous, no other soaps airs 6 times a week, almost every week of the year.
