She is one nasty piece of work - on more than one level

Last year she was spitefull and made nasty personal comments to other contestants

This year she has calmed down those comments somewhat but has been extremely blatent with her sexual innuendo

She criticises others and obviously thinks she is above reproach herself ....

But now she has gone too far .. just who is Sharon to start calling Mother Theresa petty, nasty and downright nasty names

Yes........lovely wording Sharon.

I just think the viewers of X Factor take her as the goody of the three with Simon and Louis being the baddies!

That's sooooooooooooo outrageous.

The Pontiff, I believe, is looking into the matter, and Shazz's name may not now be put forward for sainthood.

I don't know SO personally so I can't comment on what she is like really as a person and sometimes things she says and does make me hiss and spit with rage (I'm a Black Sabbath fan going back 30 years and I have my issues with certain SO business decisions that affect me and other fans like me) but I do admire and respect her guts, tenacity, determination and business acumen and she IS outrageously funny and bitchy. Plus she saved Ozzy's career (and arguably his life too) back in the day so I'm willing to forgive her most things. Mother Theresa is dead so Sharon's comments will hardly matter to her will they? And Madonna can take care of herself, not that I'm too worried about her feelings in any case.

There are times I think Sharon is great, but other times she goes too far and oversteps the mark...

I was at a comedy club on Friday, and one of the comidains mentioned Sharon, in the context of what she said to Shayne last week, and the whole audience pretty much booed her....I was quite surprised by it!

You can just picture it:
Sharon O looks in her mirror and says; "Mirror, Mirror (and Sun Newspaper) who is the fairest in the land".
The Mirror replies, "You were once fair Sharon O but now Maria is fairer than you"!
That's it, screeches Sharon, Maria is OUT this Saturday. Just give her bloody, "Brown Sugar" to sing that should do it!!

I don't think she's necessarily that popular - I went off her for a short while after last year's final but I'm over it now and I think she's fab again! She always makes me laugh

I adore her, i absolutely love her! I like her for more in depth reasons but maybe peeps like her because she is individual, she doesn't lie, she is totally honest. She also is incredibly funny and a great at argueing! Which is always a plus when it comes to celeb personalities. I think her being very open and honest and also she accepts herself and other people really is a great thing to be! Just my opinion though, i am totally aware that certain people dont like her but she is the most popular judge and "most popular expert", i think she is one of the most popular people in britain as well!

She bloody well is very popular, the reason because most of the time shes nice to artists; apart from Steve, but she never liked him, and I agreed with what she said to him, but a little unfair on his night!

Even if she said it to him for the petty reasons that she is believed to have?

She's not a bad person. She shoots her mouth off then regrets it. But she's not as influential as she would like people to believe.

Do you mean that you think she is a bad person or that she is very influential?

No, i adore her! I totally adore her! I think she is a good role model because she has been through a lot (and i'm not saying others havent) but because she is in the media and because of everything sha has been through i think she is a good role model! Also, she give constructive critisism, i don't think Louis does or even Simon does now, but hey really i only watch the show for the judges and Sharon! hehehe! BTW sorry if i changing teh subject a bit here, Sabine12345 did you go to the show last night? If show could you set up a thread telling us what happened? Thanx v-much, ah sozz forgot something else, did they close the conway's quitting thead?

Luv beth

I like Sharon but I don't like the way she acts towards Shayne and I didn't like the way she tried to cover what she meant by bringing that dog on to the show. Surely no one fell for that!
I wish she'd stop carrying that dog around anyway.

Reputations, eh? You takes yer pick and makes yer choice.

Elvis? Ask Public Enemy about Elvis (Fight the Power).
"Elvis was a hero to most/ But he never meant s*** to me you see/ Straight up racist that sucker was simple and plain/ Mother***k him and John Wayne."
or how about some words from the man himself?
"The only thing black people can do for me is shine my shoes and buy my music".

John Lennon?
Absolutely charming fellow during his "waitress-slapping, lost year in LA" period.
Todd Rundgren quote from an interview in Melody Maker, February 1974: "John Lennon ain't no revolutionary. He's a f***ng idiot, man. Shouting about revolution and acting like an ass. It just makes people feel uncomfortable.
All he really wants to do is get attention for himself, and if revolution gets him that attention, he'll get attention through revolution. Hitting a waitress in the Troubador. What kind of revolution is that?
He's an important figure, sure. But so was Richard Nixon. Nixon was just like another generation's John Lennon. Someone who represented all sorts of ideals, but was out for himself underneath it all."

However, Madonna? Lovely girl.*

*In other words still alive and possibly litigious.

She is getting a bit too big for her boots but I have no strong feelings about her either way.

However she has sponsored the 2 worst X factor acts so far, Scabby and Chito.
