Have found an old Orange Sim Card, which I didn't think would still be active, and has saved me having to buy a new sim card so that I can take advantage of the 'Free evening Calls for 5 Years' is there anyway I can find out which tarrif the phone is connected to, its an old sim card so am hoping its on the original PAYG deal I had which means that if I topped up with a £50 voucher, texts and calls would be 5p per minute. Is there anyway I can find out without having to call Orange directly

To check your tariff, dial 450 select option 3, then 2 and then the option to change your service plan. When you choose that option it will say 'Your on Talk and save ect...). I think you can use the free evening calls with the old service plans too.

If you are connected to Fixed rates all day, then you may as well move to 'Free Text top up' which is the same as Fixed rates all day and gives you free text messages.

To see if the old service is active dial 450 and speak to someone as I doubt that there are many people using that service and would therefore mean it's been withdrawn.

However, you do get up to 10% talktime back when you spend £50 or more in one go, so you'll get an extra £5 worth of credit free.

To request information by post such as brochures and orange guides call 650 from your orange phone or 07973-100-650 from a landline.

Cheers M691 and the others, I havent used the SIM Card in over 12months so was very suprised it worked at all, I had no credit on but it still has the Emergency 60seconds calls option (not even sure if that deals still running anymore) so I made a quick call to my Three mobile as I wasnt even sure what the number was
