Yes he does appeal to me. All of the acts lack presence, they can sing yes but they can't perform!! They all have something but the only one who entertains me is Chico. He is a joy to watch and yes he is talented. He may not be the best singer and he has said that himself, but people love to watch him. He is just fun, where none of the others are, so yes he has a talent that the rest of them don't

I've never been to see a stripper either and can't say it's one of my aims in life.

Watching someone who entertains me and makes me laugh/smile is good for the soul, if that's wrong then I'll sit and watch paint dry if that's what makes life interesting

Feel a bit sorry for them all now. These people must find it strange being in the public eye constantly. I don't think Shayne, or any of the others, are going to do much after XF finishes. These shows don't bring out the new stars of tomorrow. How can they? They are copying people who have made it already. However, I'm mellowing to the whole thing. Good on them all - have their shot at getting out of their dull lives. They may not make it big but it might get them somewhere else in their lives and they shouldn't waste their chance. BUT I still don't think Maria should have been denied her chance. Hope she makes it anyway.

Yes you have a lot of support regarding Chico, but that really doesnt mean anything when you consider that 75% of the population have IQ's below 100. I cant say this for certain, but i reckon most of the chico supporters might just fall into that statistic too. lol

I totally agree with Steve_fan on this one......Its not fair that hes being picked on and made oiut to be big headed and cocky. he is not at all....he is trying to achieve his dreams and gets slated for it...

I wouldn't worry too much. I find it amusing when people go on about how he is the formularic one and will appeal to the generic masses - yet on here is disliked by so many that he actually becomes the "alternative" act.

Most people who hate Shayne have no sensible reason to do so. Being smug is the most pathetic yet.

I think Shayne has a good voice , has a good look and with the right songs and management behind him.. he could go far. But I started to like him less when he was disrespectful to Simon and found constructive criticism hard to accept.

He's now openly saying he is doubting Louis' ability as his mentor and when he coyly bragged he had switched on the Christmas lights in Manchester that was another reason. In fact he may well have switched on some lights in Trafford , Manchester but THE Manchester Christmas Lights were switched on by a charity couple and Rowetta and Lee Ryan were amongst others performing live on the stage that night, he was nowhere close.

He has some good qualities but he needs to find out who he is.. we dont need another Justin Timberlake . one is quite enough.

Neither did I like how he teasingly encouraged the gay interest when in fact he isnt gay himself, or the rumoured romance links to Chenai when he has a long term girlfriend.

Maybe in a couple of years he will have matured enough to handle things better.
