Some of the posts on this thread are really funny. Thank you all very much for your entertaining comments. I fail to see how a million pound record deal can be won by somebody who cant sing i.e. Chico, or Shayne who has still to show us how original he can be. He's doing bad copies of others songs. I would like to hear him do something in his own style, before I make my mind up.

Shayne was involved in a huge event at the Trafford Centre, Manchester for the Christmas lights switch on. Local radio reported it as the biggest crowd ever for the lights on ....about 6000 people. The Trafford Centre is one of the largest shopping centre's in the country (Trafford also has a small town centre area).
Shayne had a fantastic reception from the crowd and he seemed genuinely moved by how well he was recieved. Tabby, Trevor and Simon Webbe also sang and a few corrie and footie stars appeared on stage but by far the biggest cheers of the night were for Shayne!

(Louis got booed!!)

Yes, thanks Poppy but it wasnt THE Manchester lights.. he was misleading in what he said. Thats all I am saying. As a Mancunian myself I wouldnt ever mistake the two.. one is a crowd of about 40,000 and the other.. well 6000 is excellent for the shopping mall, which at nearly 300 stores is huge! I'm surprised Louis got booed....was it the week he had voted for Chico over 4tune?
