What soap stars can you thyink of who have appeared in adverts before they were famous?

I remember seeing Suranne Jones from Corrie in a Malteasers advert (the one where she keeps turning the car around so that her friend's malteasers, which are on the dashboard, will roll over to her)

Also, Kate Ford was in an advert for McVities biscuits.

I remember that one. She plays golf in an office.

It was right before she appeared in Corrie as Tracy cos I remember saying to myself "Oh that's that girl in that biscuit advert" when she started in Corrie.

Amber out of THE BILL apearers in a smoking ad where she puches the huge fag on a plane.. does anyione rember that - it is still on now.

And Joe Absolom was in an advert before he was in Eastenders but I can't remember what that was for either

Awful advert anyway, she looks completely out of it. In fact they all do..

They werent in soaps when they were in the adverts though, or were made before they appeared, or perhaps after they had appeared in soaps.

kevin sacre night and day's dennis doyle and now hollyoaks jake dean did a pizza hut one and mobile phone ones only in cinemas though.

phoebe thomas night and day's holly curran and until recently family affairs jane hughes did a advert for pizza hut as well


julie smith night and day's kate ellis and eastenders becky and until recently family affairs lucy day did an ad for maltesers or something similar

coronation street betty driver did a washing powder advert many many yrs ago i know this cause im a big fan of her i hope shes back in corrie soon shes been out of it ages come back betty we all love u x

Yes, Ross Kemp did the fruit and fibre ad - someone posted a link for this a while back.

Leslie Grantham did one for (I think is was) Imperial Leather liquid soap... (although he was already famous.) He was in the bath and the ending was him saying "Not so Dirty Den now, am I?" or something similar.

Tracey Anne Oberman (aka Chrissie Watts) also did a Ad for local Tele here in Wales. For Brace's bread. Not sure if it was before EE though.

Mike Reid did an advert for 'Oasis' (the soft drink, not the band) although I can't find a link for the clip.
