Much as it was brilliant to see the lovely Joanne Whalley back on telly, how awful was this?

The script was dire and unless my tv is on the blink, there was something wrong with the sound, I could hardly hear it. although, that might have been a blessing.

Let's hope Ms Whalley picks better material next time.

It's Kate Bush's song that plays over it that makes me want to watch it!

I love that song as well. Think its called This Woman's Work. Good news that her new album entered the charts at number 3 today, how amazing is that after a 12 year break.

I thought the programme was a bit slow and the script pretty bad but i have to admit i liked the twist, although i still thought they did the ending badly, it was very anti-climactic (is that a word). basically i think it could have been done better. I did like the actors though.

Joanne Whalley's been in Hollywood for most of the last 20 yrs, she was married to Val Kilmer and was in films like 'Willow' 'Shattered' (something else that has a great twist!) and 'Mother's Boys' but she seems to prefer working on British stuff recently, i dont know if she's moved back here.

Did you know that "Heather" was in the remake of the Dawn of the Dead as the Zombie child at the beginning.

Scary stuff.

I really cant criticise the programme at all. I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of it & finding out that guy was the killler was amazing & that the chief was corrupt. It reminded me allot of the sort of fabuous ending youd see on Waking The Dead

Heather & Grace's mother's death was shocking!!

Me and my mom loved it. It was creepy as hell and made me want to cry in some parts. The actors were all really good, too.

I cried @ the end when Heather said to her new mother "U didnt leave me" & then hugged her. So sweet!

I thought Heather killed her mother, didnt you?
Then i felt bad when we found out that she didnt!!

Disturbing stuff.
Loved the scene when Heather stood in the supermarket and opened the boxes of cereal then proceeded to put it everywhere.
I loved this.

I thought the story was poor, with so few characters we were left with one of two options; Heather did the deed or the adoption chap did.

I didn't feel the charcters were well developed, or the actors appropriately chosen, i.e. a Scottish man with an English mother, and the female leads accent was suspect; I read above she lived in Hollywood for years, it certainly showed.

The sound was poor and all those commercial breaks!

I think Heather was more comparable to The Omen than The Exorcist, though ive never seen Exorcist, I just dont think Heather was on that excessive level of evil! She was just a young girl traumatised by her mother's shocking death
