..... started up this "flirtation" with Alex?

I've always liked Kate, and thought that the allegations that she used her sexuality to get in the boys' good books were unfair. However, her behaviour toward Alex these past few days has not endeared her to me. I thought she flirted with Spencer because she genuinely liked him, likewise with Alex and Adele.

Maybe I am misreading things - I haven't been watching E4 lately and so am reliant on the oh-so-balanced editing of the channel 4 show.

I should just give up on the show this year.

Don't rely on the C4 show for your judgments. It is Alex who has been hitting on Kate more than the other way around. Indeed Kate told Alex last night in no uncertain terms that she has only fancied one bloke while in the house and that was Spencer.

To be honest, it has been Alex making most of the advances (particularly when he was pissed). Kate was the one trying to keep him at arms length and get him out of her bed.

its been alex who has done the initiating, cue alex's monologue to mirror - him saying "i turn into a pratt, when i drink".

kates not been using her "feminine charms" or whatever it was Sandy had tried to spread.

but because of channel 4 selective editing it looks like Kate is making the running.

I really should know better than to trust C4.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a "Kate'n'Spen 4EVA" person, but I did think that the C4 shows, and in particular the psychologists did their relationship a disservice. I'm not sure why Channel 4 think it's a good idea to portray Alex and Kate as a potential romance - I don't think it will do any of them any favours. Maybe channel 4 really do want Jonny to win.

I did begin to doubt her intentions and did agree with Sandy's comments to some extent.

However, someone else who has been doing exactly the same is Alex. Watching him bite her on the arse last night after he had done this to Adele and his general flirting with Kate in the same way that he flirted with Adele made me think that he is JUST as bad as her.

Why is it that we can excuse the blokes for acting this way but not the girls? Their behaviour has been just as bad as each others, so I think it is unfair to single Kate out like that.

Alex has been after Kate, and Kate definitely said the only person she wanted in that way was Spencer, to him, later that night. Even though I think if they both get drunk enough they will continue playing their game of follow the van.

And why is it wrong for Kate to flirt with Alex, but okay for Alex to have such a strong bond with Adele only to then go after Kate within 3 days of her leaving?

I wanted Katie to win but lets face it she was hardly repelling alex during "follow the van" was she .....she seemed to be positivly encouraging him and I too have E4 .
not sure what to make of her ...will reserve judgement but wasn't amused by her allowing him to grope her .

She had a chance to throw herself at him when she went over to the rich side, and didn't even look at him. If that's throwing herself at someone, then I'm roger rabbit.

They made no commitments to either Spencer or Adele. Perhaps if Spencer had been more open with Kate she wouldn't have thought he didn't like her that way.

And Kate was the one who told Alex to get out of her bed. And went on to say she only fancied Spencer in that house.

When she starts behaving towards the guys like she did Spencer - (sleeping in the same bed as him, forever hugging and cuddling up to him) then I think it might be fair to say something. but even then, like I said, he never told her whether or not he liked her that way, so why shouldn't she have some fun anyway?

No double standard from me! My focus is on Kate because she is my favourite of the remaining contestants - I'd like to at least support one of them till the end. I find Alex to be weak and uninteresting, so my opinion of him is already fairly low.

Actually I thought she was repelling him, albeit gently. She told him to get out of her bed several times whenever he overstayed his welcome. She also refused to get into his. As for allowing him to grope her, how can you tell what was going on under the duvet?

Kate called Alex over to her bed to whisper something to him last night. I think those 2 have fancied each other since the beginning but after the Weegate affair, Alex distanced himself from Kate & Spencer joined the group. He's been apart fom them with Sandy for the first few days. Let's face it, any red-bloodied male would fancy her - my sons do - and she's hardly had much competition.
And I think Alex & kate make a great couple. he's be more attentive to her than Spencer was.

Kate was very tired and drunk, she wouldn't get out of the bed to look for the van in Alex's bed when he asked - I think at one time she even handed the van to him she was that tired and to try stop him. ....you know, like humour him. Anyway, is that the only way Alex can get his kicks? it seems he waits till Kate is drunk before he makes a move....Oi Vey!.

Wasn't he drunk as well? That's right! You can say the same, it's only when he's drunk that he behaves like that.

Hmmm, I seem to remember him behaving like that when Kate got back to the poor side - very drunk from her meal with Tim. Remember? Alex didn't have any booze coz he was on the poor side!

I don't have E4, so I'm just going from what I've read on the transcripts here, but to me it seems that Alex, PJ and Jonny are all trying it on with Kate this week. If I were her I'd feel at least a little concerned and uneasy. Look at how they acted when she had given Jade a back massage as part of the "Slave-Master" task - PJ saying he'd have an erection if she massaged him, and many other sexually suggestive comments being made by the others. Even married-man Jonny was involved.

Yes, I agree that the C4 portrayal of the "follow-the-van" episode last night didn't make her look good, but I didn't see the live coverage so I've no idea how they cut it. To be honest I feel sorry and a little wary for Kate - she IS very attractive, and it's obvious that at least three of the boys there fancy her and are making that very clear now. If she survives this week, and (as is more and more likely) Jade goes next week, leaving her alone with three horny men I think she'll be given a hard time, to the point that in the workplace we would call it harrassment. She sure is a strong women when she wants to be, but when drunk her defenses come down and make her vulnerable. I just hope she can keep herself together during the last week and not allow them to tease her into a compromising situation.

Nope, never behaved liked *that* when he is sober, in the poor or rich side. He played the follow the van with Kate and Adele once in the poor side but they were all consenting and accomplice. Any other time , it's a simple play, when he is sober.
