Non-descript run-of-the-mill humour.

He has lost that zest that made him so unique and endearing in the first 5 weeks.

although, what about the drunken mirror scene. That reminded us he really is a bit of a freak.

BB.Watcher Smocher

What about the ' I'm not a professional chicken dryer' for a start

I'm not convinced.

I think he was play-acting.

He is becoming more and more like Jonny, Kate et al as he is being accepted into their little clique.

There are bits of it here and there but he is increasingly adapting to fit in with the others.

I dont know if it can still be a clique if all but one HM's are in it. Perhaps he's just starting to chill a bit!

Much as I dislike Tim, at least he hasn't made any compromise to be a part of it (which he clearly, is not).

00:26 Tim says he sees himself as a toned down Sandy, he won't bother with those he does not like. Alex is worried that his standards are dropping and that he is now doing things he told others off for before.

Another sad attempt by the Pro-Jonny squad to try and bring down Alex.

I am an Alex fan believe it or not.

I dislike Jonny because I am fully aware of his 'acting to the cameras'.

It shouldn't be a case of who he believes but the housemates who prefer him to be himself.

I liked it when he stood up for his oddball principles. Like them or not, Sandy and Adele encouraged this.

In my opinion he is trying too hard to be like (and be liked by) Kate and Jonny.

lol.........oh yeah, silly me, duh! I completly forgot, he can't function alone.....I mean, if he did, why he'd have to take responsibilty for his actions and we all know that Alex is never to blame, it's always Adele or Tim's or <insert any hm's name here> their fault!

When PJ and Jonny playfight with the girls they are bullies being too rough, when Alex punches Kate in the stomach and winds her he's just flirting.

No it shouldn't.

Problem is Alex is the only person in the house with any manners and a sense of respect for other people.

He's found himself in an enviroment (obviously this is just my opinion) where the people are so different from him he simply doesnt know what to make of them.

So he keeps listening to A then B then finally the chickens.

I was going to say more ... something about he knows Timmy is taking the piss out of him with the I think u are great Alex etc ..... but am tired and this wine it going to my head .. or my fingers or somewhere in between !

LK Happy with her wine

If I offend I surely dont mean too .....

When Alex gets in the party mood, he's good fun.

When Alex surrounds himself with arseholes he himself becomes a prat... Sandy, Adele and now Tim epsecially are just making him more boring. When he gets a bit drunk and hangs out with Kate, Jonny and PJ he's a good laugh.

I've just listened to Tim and Alex have a good whinge about the whole thing. I hate the way Alex picks the most horrid people as mates in that house.

The sooner Tim goes, the better... He has no sense of fun whatsoever, and won't take part in any games. Riding around in a trolley may be a bit juvenile, but it's just a bit of fun, and he turns his nose up to it. I hope he gets some stick when he does come out.

I agree with those points ,yet Alex on a number of occasions has bemoaned the fact that everyone he gets close to (and that is only really Sandy and Adele) disappears (kiss of death for Tim). He seems to choose "friends" with pos(sibly) his parents approval in mind then when the dreaded booze kicks in he's off the rails with the kids from the wrong side of the tracks, then when it wears off it's ice cold showers and a healthy birching. Talking to the mirrors was on one level a classic comedy moment but at the same time it was deeply disturbing, the naughty Alex made me do it mummy

Thats true.

Sandy, Adele, Tim not the best choice in company.
He said it himself - it was something like "i never get on well with those from my homeland"

he was brilliant in the toilet. he is best when he seems to be totally unself-conscious.
he takes himself too seriously. thats when he gets funny.

showing his human side isnt necessarily a bad thing. tho he thinks it is.

I've read your posts in this thread and I'm agreeing with you completely for the most part.

I know he was drunk, but I got the feeling when he climbed over the sofa and fell over, it was all a bit OTT.

I'm an Alex Fan too, but it I may as well give him a bit of a dig now and then if I'm in the mood.
