great minds think alike see my last post
it's in the shayne appreciation thread

yup the boy has done good, a natural performer
all we want is a brilliant song for him to sing...
come on louis stop bumming up shayne”

if he does a good performance i'll vote for him as he seems like a really genuine guy but he needs to get a decent song and sing it well or he'll be out soon

I agree. I dont really see anything special in Shayne tbh.

I reckon that, because we havent had a 'pop idol' type winner for a few years now, they want that type to win this time round and Shayne is the chosen one.

those last two songs might put a dent in his chances
whatever the judges are up to, nicholas isn't phased
if he keeps being himself we will have 'decent' winner

I'd like to hear Nic try 'Let me Love You' by Mario. Its an up to date song and suits his style.

i thought Nicholas was good when i saw him in his first audition but i dont like him anymore, everytime he sings he sounds flat but i would like to hear him sing end of the road again because he was good at that, Louis is giving him the wrong songs

But Shayne has the better voice.
Every week i really want to vote for Nicholas as hes such a sweet guy and seems very humble but his performances always dissapoint me so i just cant bring myself to pick up the phone and actually vote for him.
He should have gone the week he was in the bottom 2 imo.”

Yeah I know what you mean, although I do vote for him. I just know he can do so much better if he had a fantastic song. The fact that he was so good when he sung Let's Get It On proves this. I didn't vote for him when he did I Want You Back because he was just truly awful and I had a feeling he would be in the Bottom Two anyway. I didn't like I Believe I Can Fly very much either, but voted for him FOUR times regardless... I voted for him on Saturday mainly for piece of mind, as I couldn't of bared it if he went after Chenai left just the week before.

i feel exactly the same claire, im still voting for him despite his weaker performances, coz we've seen previously that he is capable of more

Do you think itws just down to nerves?
Maybe he'll be more confident this week as he was saved by the public on saturday.

its deffo nerves....listen to his songs, u can even here in the space of a song how he picks up confidence. he starts of a bit shaky then improves....can hardly blame him tho. i have a good singing voice but i know that if faced with a live performance like that my voice would be shaky as **** with nerves...
