Last nite, Jonny typically interupted Alex and Kate. This convinces me Jonny is terrified Kate will get close to Alex and ruin his nomination tactics. Jonny has did this on numerous occassions. It's obvious he fancies Kate and is jealous as hell.

We know that he likes to know everything he can that's going on in there, and with Kate being close with someone else, there is always the risk that Jonny's name might crop up in conversation.

Kates not dumb. she has sense enough to know what is trustworthy.
Taking a balanced point of view, Jonny has shown actions that could be jealousy. but they have a good rapport between each other, and each knows the others limits. they have developed trust, probably as best as any other 2, i think. they also know best themselves what they mean to each other. Altho Jonnys jealousy might not be sexual jealousy, it isnt intrusive or constant. there could be a"when harry met sally" thing, but he is not a lech.
Some posters(not of this thread) here are a lot freer with their name-calling, put-downs, and sometimes malicious slander, than others. downright ugly. about as much entertainment value as the ugly bitching in the house. cant stand this trend. the housemates seem to come across better sometimes. Thats saying something.

IMO Jonny and Kates friendship in the house seems more brother/sister like and when he breaks up the steamier moments in true gooseberry fashion it appears to be more protection than jealousy, and for that reason I honestly don't think he goes into tactical mode. He sees Alex as a lantern -jawed rake who Kate is struggling to resist. Alex only makes the advances under the influence of the booze when at the same time Kates defences are at their weakest,Jonny never gets as drunk as Alex and for the reasons above never will

Probably that the nude body of Jade was representative of his repressed self. That he has kept his true self hidden and he projected his feelings on to the group by wanting a stripping game. A naked body was symbolic of his desire to show his true personality but, he cannot because it would not be in his interest with respect to the public votes! Freud would probably say his obsession with sexual things, i.e. His asking males if they had erections
when they were massage by Kate was sexual repression and that he feels trapped by himself and threatened by the males in the house! His constant reference to cucumbers in the past 48 hours, once about Sandy and tonight when he mentioned it to Alex would be viewed as a reference to the male organ - again he feels he is not allowed to be the Alpha male in the house and its psychlogically tearing him apart - hence, his withdrawal etc

Surley its one or the other! I don't think its either apart from maybe that Kate is his best friend in the house and he wants to spend time with her, even if she is talking to a tw*t like Alex! Surley a boy and a girl can be friends with out people trying to read things in to it all the time!

Jonny simply doesnt like women - really. He isnt the slightest bit interested in Kate.

I think Jonny is trying to protect Kate. And lets face it, Alex is not behaving in a gentleman like way, now is he?
IMO Jonny is acting with jelousy. This thing where he butts in with Kate and Alex, why? - protecting Kate, I'm sure Kate has dealt with many men far more charming than Alex. As for drunken passes, who hasnt been on both ends of this before. Alex flirts with Kate when there drunk, Kate flirts back, so what is the problem.
Personally I think that Jonny does fancy Kate in a sexual way, no real evidence just my opinion, but he would not be stupid enough to show to much of this would he? Apart from his feelings for his girlfriend he knows that this would make him look bad to the public and wreck his chance of winning.

The Jonny that we see in the big-brother house requires ‘order’ and 'control' .. ‘a place for everything and everything in its place’ .. and this usually entails Kate being by his side for as much of the day as possible.
If you take notice that whenever she leaves his vision and happens to be in the company of others (particularly Alex) .. his mind will begin to wander .. this has happened numerous times when Jonny has been in the company of [say] PJ & Tim and Alex, Kate & Jade have been in the bedroom. He becomes agitated after a while and will get up from the others and say, “I’m just gonna go see what those are doin in there.. “ – there is a need of desperation to control and dominate all possible situations and make sure that Kate is not having a “funny moment” that might not involve himself.
Jonny certainly feels a need to control - and its unfortunate that Kate is in his grasp... and a lot of it could well come down to sexual frustration / jealousy.
Remember, Jonny has made numerous references to Kate being his “plaything” and "playmate" .. she belongs to him and nobody else and the closer Alex becomes .. the more volatile Jonny will become.
