lol.. Sam's gone hardcore. Then again it wouldn't be very hard though.
Reminded me of the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, Jazz always being thrown out

Good episode. I like how Naomi and Gary have just become friends but I wonder what he will say after he finds out about her being a
Spoiler
Lesbian

Still I like the idea of that as it would give a new edge to Gary having a close friend who is a girl but also gay.

Ian only has himself to blame for the way Phil treats and and it is about time Big Mo had a storyline she could get her teeth into.

For the first time I liked both Ruby and Naomi tonight and Naomi does have great potential as long as her forthcoming storyline is handled well.

Ok tonight after all the week of wondering how Phil was going to catch in the vic it was Sam afterall, whats the woman lawyer's name?
I like her I think she is Marcus's replacement we might not see him again if Phil gets everthink back anyway

This is going to sound nasty but i'm glad Ian lost £5,000 as Phil said the boot's on the other foot now he was quit nasty to Sam tonight and he's not better giving Chrissie £5,000

It serves Ian right as he knew full well Chrissie had no choice but to sell it to him for £5,000.

I'm getting sick of people manhandling and throwing Ian about, committing assault at every turn, and its tolerated because its snivelling Ian Beale. Funny how its never when Jane's about too, cos Kat knows Jane would slap the taste right out of her mouth...seeing as Ian isnt allowed to hit a woman.

Liked Ian listening to one of the themes from 'Goodfellas' in the cafe, I'm not sure if that was deliberate, I also liked the scene where Johnny turned up to help Ian, i like thier little tandem and hope to see more of it. As Ian so rightly said...not everyone loves the Mitchell family, and why Kat is being so friendly to Sam after she willingly teamed with Chrissie to get Zoe in the Den plot is beyond me...seems that as per usual old plot points keep getting forgotton. Like Ian costantly helping Sam out and giving her a job when she was penniless, weren't calling him a weasel then were you

No Peggy, it was your pub second, Dens pub first....but enjoy it anyway.

Tracy gets better with age

Peggy bought the Vic a bit fast didnt she? It took Chrissie ages to get the sale prepared. And where did Phil get the cash from? surely his assets were wiped out from his time on the run and in prison...or did Grant bankroll it? Cos Peggy sure as hell couldn't afford it before.

Why has Jake been let off scot free....Do they really believe that Jake wasn't aware that Chrissie was fleeing the country desperately for a reason?

For the first time ever, i actually didn't mind Ruby too much and think she did ok in the episode, the match with Juley is an odd one, he looks like he's nearly 30.

Sam only called Ian a weasal because Ian was winding her up. I'm glad Sam has grew a backbone, thought she was great tonight. I don't like the fact that Kat was being friendly to Sam tonight when it was her family who helped put her in prison in the first place.

Was it Den's name still there above the door I think so
Ian derserved to get thrown out tonight for mouthing off to Sam
as Sam said he tryed to buy the vic for £5,000 but it's gone wrong for Ian

Kat's been friendly to sam to get on the right side of the mitchells so Sam won't drop Zoe in it

I dont approve of bullying but Ian can be such a weasel. Good episode tonight and I hope to see more of the Mitchells solicitor. I am sure I saw a glint in her eye when she was looking at Phil outside the Queen Vic.

Nice post, In Your Eyes.

Agree with everything you said - saves me typing it, I agree with you wholeheartedly.

PLUS: Grant said he was just about making ends meet in Rio.

How did Peggy get the Vic then...I mean it was Den's right, so who do you actually buy it off when the owner is dead? lol

A decent enough episode, Phil wasn't so irritating today and felt more like the old OLD Phil in some ways.

Good god - she seems about the same age as Peggy.

Still, no more unbelievable than him sleeping with Mel etc.

How can you check such a thing

And anyway, I don't care what the person's name is in real life, I agree with the points raised 100%.

I often do replica posts of mine on here over at Emmerdale Past & Present (or vice versa), and I have a different name there.

I agree.

BUT... isn't it hilarious that he's befriended a homosexual, hoping to get something out of it - and he wouldn't even consider she's gay?

He would think that only men could be gay.

(Just to explain things for other posters who maybe don't watch every episode.)
