Liked Ian listening to one of the themes from 'Goodfellas' in the cafe, I'm not sure if that was deliberate, I also liked the scene where Johnny turned up to help Ian, i like thier little tandem and hope to see more of it. As Ian so rightly said...not everyone loves the Mitchell family, and why Kat is being so friendly to Sam after she willingly teamed with Chrissie to get Zoe in the Den plot is beyond me...seems that as per usual old plot points keep getting forgotton. Like Ian costantly helping Sam out and giving her a job when she was penniless, weren't calling him a weasel then were you

No Peggy, it was your pub second, Dens pub first....but enjoy it anyway.

Peggy bought the Vic a bit fast didnt she? It took Chrissie ages to get the sale prepared. And where did Phil get the cash from? surely his assets were wiped out from his time on the run and in prison...or did Grant bankroll it? Cos Peggy sure as hell couldn't afford it before.

Why has Jake been let off scot free....Do they really believe that Jake wasn't aware that Chrissie was fleeing the country desperately for a reason?

For the first time ever, i actually didn't mind Ruby too much and think she did ok in the episode, the match with Juley is an odd one, he looks like he's nearly 30.”

You have caused a stir on Talk Walford.

Good episode. Very normal and not much related to Den's death. You can kind of see how EastEnders is going to be from now on without the Den storyline and it looks good.

Now where have Pauline & Joe got to? They seem to have disappeared.

So why copy someone else's post from another website?

Anyone want to see for themselves? -

So are they the same poster or not???

And how can you check??? (Still waiting to hear on that one.)

Either way, I agree with the ORIGINAL poster 100%.

Did he actually but the Vic for a measly five grand? I never thought much about tonight's episode. But I love the Mitchells back behind the bar. It's funny seeing Ian scared - absolutely love the look on his face. Brilliant acting from Adam Woodyat.

Can someone answer me about who Peggy bought the Vic off? I mean how does it work...Den is dead, so what, was it just back on the market? I really DON'T get it.

I think the best answer you're going to get...

is the same one that Grant gave his mum when Phil was released...

Bonze - no disrespect because I enjoy your posts and have often replied to them, but I posted a response here:

Unless I'm missing something (and I have just had my head bashed in and been dug out from concrete having been buried for six months+) so if that's the case please forgive me.

Gary is a bigot - it wouldn't even cross his mind that someone gay would be female. How ironic that his relationship/flatshare with Minty is portrayed as him being the other half of a married couple.

Nice to see a normal sort of episode tonight after all the drama. Normal but not boring.

That Sam Mitchell's a strong girl isn't she? First she digs up a concrete floor single-handed and now she throws Ian out of the Vic. I know Ian's a weed but all the same.

Erm, I think Bonze's point was that Trixie posted a spoiler, then revealed it a few lines later in the same post...lol.

Being the red-blooded heterosexual that he is, I'm sure Gary has seen the odd magazine or film depicting gay females Although he probably thinks that all they need is a proper bloke like him to sort them out

That scene at the breakfast table was sooo camp lol!

As for the Mitchells being back in the Vic, was the sign above the door new, or was it the old one from when Peggy used to be the landlady? Either way, it doesn't explain where they've got the money from to buy it, and the Arches

I assumed it was Minty, although thinking about it He wouldn't keep his job for long.
