I so totally agree with you Bill Fan. Sarah is such a slapper to steal Jason off of Violet. And Jason is just as stupid going after Sarah Platt when he supposed to be in a relationship with Viloet and to be faithful to her and only her.

I dont know why Coronation Street have to do this storyline as i think they are running out of ideas for the show and are just scarping the scraps from teh bottom of the barrel.

Brilliant second episode, The Dev and Sunita stuff was exciting to watch, its not as silly as it sounded - Dev played around for years beore Sunita and Shareen was his latest conquest. Shobna Gulati's acting was very good, and Dev had me int stitches with the way he voice kept going HIGH and low.

Sarah was even more annoying that usual, poor Voilet! Jason is a totla idiot, I've no time for him at all. Jamie and Joanne's scenes were also good and Carol drunk was again done well.

Hate the Alahan storyline. Why can't Dev and Sunita just be happy? It doesn't make sense, the whole Maya stuff seems pointless now. She was trying to destroy their relationship so why didn't she pick this up? She seemed to know everything else about their lives but not this?

The whole episode was complete shite because I hate every storyline going at the moment.

The actor who plays Dev should be sacked he is terrible other than that good episode.

2 great episodes tonight, i think Dev is so funny and im glad he is staying I know his and Sunita's storyline isn't about comedy but i found it hilarious when Sunita kept finding out about more and more of Dev's children! lol.

Stuff like this does actually happen in Indian culture, Dev as I undertand it is after a son and all he's getting is daughters, could be the reason for this happening. A bit back-ward but I'm glad Corrie are covering it if its that.

I was enjoying this storyline but now after reading this it does seem a bit crap!

More over-acting from Jimmi in tonight's second episode. Why does he have to accentuate one word in practically every sentence he delivers? Very good acting from Shobna. I liked the way she gave him the opportunity to explain about Shareen & he didn't take it, causing her to go ballistic. No wonder she's walked out on him.

Felt a bit sorry for Joanne when Jamie was shouting at her but I still can't get interested in her as a character & fail to see precisely what Jamie is meant to see in her.

Donk is still stalking Jason & she really won't take no for an answer will she? This is a major turnaround for her considering that they've barely said two words to see each since she slept with him last year. Now of course we're meant to believe that she fancies him so much that she can't stop stalking him. Of course, the best part of the story will be when Gail & Eileen find out.

Maya didn't need to know about Dev's children, all she wanted to do was get Dev OFF Sunita, if you remember way back, Maya and Dev were an item, Sunita got a brain tumor and then Dev realised he loved her, the children aspect didn't come into it. But I remember during "Mad Maya" that Dev was very concered about the workers and the children and kept asking about them, now you can see why he was very protective over them.

Poor Sunita.

I know what you mean, I can't pay attention properly, or take the storyline seriously, cos I'm too busy laughing at Dev (and not in a good way) I can only echo what others have said already: why on earth are they getting rid of Sunita instead of him?? Shobna is a good actress and Sunita is a great character, she has far more potential than Dev.
After all the trouble they went to to get Dev and Sunita together, it seems ridiculuos to split them up so soon, but if they really had to do it, why not get rid of Dev and give Sunita the shop as part of the divorce settlement? It would be great to see Sunita combining the roles of single mother and businesswoman

Btw, that Sandra woman said he wouldn't marry her cos he wanted a traditional Indian wife, but he was all set to marry Gina until she dumped him

I thought she said it was Dev's mother who wanted him to marry a traditional indian girl?
Plus, wasn't Dev's mother opposed to Dev and Gina?

Maybe I mis-heard it then I also seem to remember his mother being against him and Gina.

The thin twin doesn't seem as bad when she's not with the larger twin. Good decision to axe the larger one

I am somewhat confused. WPC Habib from Gasforth Police is the mother of Dev's teenage daughter.

I can understand Sunita being upset about not being told the truth ( although I can understand Dev's position ) but if all these children were conceived well before She and Dev got together and he has been faithful since that time, is it really so bad.

I bet Frankie would love to ban Carol from her house, but she is afraid of upsetting Jamie.

Jason continues to p*ss me off but it was another Battersby free episode.

I think it's more to do with him keeping such a huge secret from her. And also she's probably wondering what sort of a father he will be to her children, as he hasn't exactly been father of the year to the kids he already has

I have no issue with Janice and Leanne.

Dev is obviously not an ideal father but he was prepared to help provide for them. She might recognise that she was the one who Dev wanted to marry, not any of the others.

Maybe, but I think it would make her seriously question whether she wanted to stay married to someone who could keep something like that from her. She is seeing him in a whole different light now, and not the man she married.
