I don't want to see Alex or Tim win it, not a chance i hope. And Jade, well i would be happy to see her win it, IF Jonny and Kate are not there!!! But yes i think Jonny will win also, it will be a close call though because i think Kate may also win.. In my opinion he has brought nothing to the house except toilet humour and moaning. Nothing that Jonny has done has warranted him leaving the house as the winner, although for some reason the powers that be seem to be gearing him to be so. The only saving grace for this series has been the early exit of his 'partner in crime', Alison. It's just a shame that he did not follow soon after. |

Sure, he has an equity card AND is in a band, but it's really coming across that he seems entertaining because he's funny not because he's trying to do what will win the game! In other words people like him because he's an entertaining guy. I've spoken to his wife and she backs that up. he's like that 24/7 and people warm to that. |

Kate on fire tonight!
When all had gone to bed, Kate and Jonny stayed to chew the fat - both sober. What an eye-opener. As a test of personality and raconteur-ship(?) Jonny was lost in the wake of Kate's hilarious story-telling. She is a star. If she doesnt get her own show after this........................... Jonny lost out to a girl who is having a storming last leg. STill want Alex to win though!

Sorry - but I cannot stand Jonny and this dislike of him as person grows more each day ..... Its Jonny's 'ME' attitutude - his steptoe/fagan similarities and that stupid girly giggle of his ..... not to mention the fact that even though I do like Kate, she often goes OTT when with Jonny - why??? because Jonny does not know what OTT means and just goes too far. A few weeks ago I gave Jonny the benefit of the doubt ... but no, he lost that 200%. Does this guy know how to treat a lady??? There has been nothing of the sort shown imo magsiess (aka mags - aka what was it ... Elysium??? - only kidding on the last one but .....) |

Jonny's fans do sem desperate to put a spin on everything he does. But at the end of the day that is all it is - Spin spin spin! Put Alex down and try to make jonny look more interesting than he actually is - That doesn't make you deserve to win does it?

Jonny's constant attachment to Kate all the time is annoying. He rarely gives her any space.

Kate was annoying me with her 'Yesssss', over and over again. Then Jonny saying to Kate, 'i'll have to beat you up a bit more next week, because the public must like it'. Point to Jonny, NOPE, I don't like seeing your rough antics with the women in the house!!
What's funny, is that their conversation is just washing over me, I'm finding it hard to concentrate on what they're saying, 'cos the majority or it is rubbish. I hope Kate doesn't hang out too much with Jonny, if this is anything to go by, it could do her more harm than good. But, then again, will she be able to get any space away from him? I doubt it very much. |

That was all. Anyway whats the business about 'does Jonny know how to treat a lady'? Perhaps you need to look at the likes of PJ and Tim and ask that question. |

I think whether you like Johnny or Alex basically comes down to your sense of humour. They have very different ways of entertaining us. Johnny's humour is very physical and in your face "having a laugh". Alex's humour is more understated and verbally "silly". People will warm to them depending on their own sense of humour.
All the other reasons that people post such as "whingy", "false" etc are just ways of justifying their gut reactions to this. |

I said something simialr to this earlier on in the thread and someone answered that maybe it's because when we grew up we were encouraged to respond to humour in a certain way. I am not sure I agree with that as I prefer Eddie Izzard and Jack Dee etc. My brother likes The Goons, my Dad likes Bob Monkhouse and my mother doesn't have a sense of humour as she is German (no, she likes Victoria Wood) so all very different tastes. |
