In the time allowed I think I should go with that one, or I can see them booking me in to a mental hospital rather quickly, as I have to agree with everything you have to say

Just bumping the topic up a bit, as I haven't figured out how to get back to it if it goes off screen & I'm sure there will be contributions later today.

Well, didn't they do a great job of the foxtrot tonight?

Light & graceful, & a joy to watch.

I don't understand why Darren was criticised for his hands & posture again, I couldn't see anything wrong with either of them.

Lilia looked her, usual, lovely self & Darren was every inch the Gene Kelly in his tails.

I thought they deserved to be at least equal first with Colin & Erin; who also gave a cracking peformance tonight, never mind second & it was very nice to hear Lilia complimented on her choreography (nice move on her part, with Brucie, by the way in asking him if they were his favourites, even Richard & Judy commented on that last night)

I thought it disgusting the way that we saw no footage of them in the group dance, other than when they did their solo spot.

Sorry to anyone who has other favourites to win but, if the whole point of the show is to produce the best/most improved all round dancer, who has the most fun whilst taking part, then Goughie should be declared the overall series winner right now.

Here, here! Even Lilia admits that when she was first partnered with Darren, she thought they'd be out within the first two weeks - but now look at the man! He's been transformed!! But I love his attitude to this competition. He's LOVING dancing, is so relaxed and confident and he's attempted - and pulled off - some of the most daring choreography (the Paso, the Jive footwork!). He has my vote and deserves to be the Series 3 Champion!! C'mon, Goughie!!

Oh so true, and Arleene was at it again last night....
I am starting to think that they decide on something i.e. his hands and then just comment on it every week without actually looking, I thought he was a dream last night and really graceful, you will be pleased to know that I made nasty comments to Arleene when she said that although I don't think it will stay in the show...... think my language was too bad (sorry) but was very angry that she was not watching the same dance as me and obviously influenced by my gushing love for D!!!

Also agree that in light of his fab group dance last week they would have focused in on him at least once, big CROSS against the camera man for that one!!

StrictlyAddict (sorry can't use SA as it makes it sound like I'm addressing one of Adolf's brownshirted boys & you're much too nice for that)

Sounds like you did us proud; hope they do keep the Arlene comment in; even though it will probably result in her marking Darren & Lilia down - as she seemed to do with Patsy & Anton, after Len had a go at her last night - I end up screaming abuse at her every time she makes one of her pronouncements lately.

Having watched the show again, paying particular attenion to camera angles, there is definitely a camera that is aligned to shoot from the stage, along the length of the dancefloor & into the audience. This would have been ideal for catching shots of the couples at the back of the group tango; particularly Darren & Lilia, but they only used it once & that was to catch Colin & Erin. I don't blame the cameramen for this, has to be down to the producers deciding who they wanted the public to see at this point. To use a popular phrase, custard tactics, again.

I loved the way Lilia got in the cheeky, "Are we your favourites?", to Brucie, as they went off to await their marks for the foxtrot, as Richard Madely (sorry if I spelled that wrong) said that to them on Friday & I'mpretty certain that the exchange went along the lines of Judy stating that Brucie said that all the couples & Lilia remarked that it was all the couples except them.

Did anyone catch what Darren said, that reduced them to giggles, during the Argentine tango training footage; when Lilia stood with her back to him & had to raise her leg between his?

Oh, & did anyone else think it was a case of Darren having to hold her down in the wind tunnel?

Back to R & J, I wonder if Darren's nightclub dancing was in Blackpool, the night Darren B. & Lilia won the UK Closed Championships? Certainly shows that SCD; & the pairing with her, have added opened new horizonsfor him.

I think Darren said somethng about Lillia attempting to kick his b*lls Twas very funny indeed and I agree about the wind tunnel. What an inspired idea, and it did improve his posture. Remember Craig mention in the week that Darren needed to pull up more?

Inspired use of custard terminology there Glen It did brighten my day to see it there in the middle of your considered analysis

Thanks for that; Darren's comment about the kick. Good job he didn't do the instinctive bending over to protect them or else they might not have made it through the training session.

Perhaps, the windtunnel training is Darren's way of ensuring that he knows how to look as if he's dancing on air every Saturday? Certainly a different approach to ballet lessons.

Ok, so was it just me, or did anyone else find Darrens wobbly cheeks in the windtunnel REALLY cute?! I actually do think I love him! lol
I'm so glad he was picked first to go through in the 'no particular order' bit...he's clearly Number 1! Once again, his dancing was fab, and I loved that little lift in the Argentinian Tango...it's just a shame we didn't get to see more of him and Lillia in that dance. It would seem there is definitely something of a bias towards a couple of other contestants... we should demand more coverage of our gorgeous Mr Magic Hips!

I somehow think there may be some confusion as to what I meant.

I know that you can flick between the pages of a given thread, once you've opened it, by selecting the desired page, however I can't see how you can recover a thread that has dropped far enough down the list as to have passed off those that have been most recently active.

When you are on the page with all thread titles, there are the numbers at the top and bottom of the page so you can go through the pages the same way as when you have a particular thread open. Hope that makes sense and is what you’re actually asking sorry if I’m just rambling!

Ah, there's the problem. They aren't showing up except when I'm actually in a thread. Always knew someone up there didn't like me; probably one of the judges' guardian angel - LOL.
