Glad to see someone else has standards. I have used this phrase before, Jade I think is, "more to be pitied than scorned" |

Mrs
----------------------------------------------- Is it still correct to humilitate another human being who has less than average intelligence NOBODY humiliated her. She was a more than willing participant. If anyone humiliated her it was Jade herself. She was lapping it up, laughing, and thoroughly enjoying it all. There was NO look of embarrassment or unwillingness or awkwardness on her face at all. She may have a lower IQ than the others but it doesnt mean to say she has a lesser amount of common sense. I blame them for egging her on, and then not stopping her before it turned into the situation that happened. Did you see E4 or are you basing it on the 'highlights' on C4? just curious LK - thinking about lunch

Also Kate said Jade was breaking the rules because she wasnt calling everyone by their surname, when she quite clearly kept calling her Jade instead!
I dont mind anyone having a game, but when they keep changing the rules to suit themselves, thats when its not fair. |

When you are drunk you lose all your inhibitions and often do silly things..but only things you want to do but haven't got the guts to do when you are sober. I wouldn't take all my clothes off however drunk I was.......(mainly because, as my man would say, it would frighten the horses).
I really think Jade knew what she was doing and was lapping up the attention. I don't understand how Kate is getting all the blame for this. Wasn't it Jonny who started the game? They all knew full well that it would be Jade who would lose and were having a giggle at her expense, yes. But I don't think they all understood how far she would go. Jade wasn't too slow in removing her knickers...... But what I really want to know was why she was still wearing her shoes. Surely one shoe at a time would have been removed before her underwear if she really didn't want to make an exhibition of herself, followed by hair ribbons, false teeth, wooden leg, glass eye etc etc...... |

Another angle on it could be that Jade is just so desperate to win she will do anything however I don't think she is that clever. I for one no matter how drunk I was have allowed the game to continue. One has to wonder if any of the other HM's now deserve to win having humilated another human being as they did. I would also be ashamed to be the parents of any of those HM's, I know Jonny likes a bit of fun but someone should have stepped in to stop it. having trouble finding ANY of them I'd like to see walk with the money now

I have to agree with Sparkles but didn't notice the shoe.
I don't remember such protests when they stripped naked in BB1. Did we see naked flesh in BB2 - can't remember? If Jade had a body to beholden, would people complain? You only have to go the beach in some places to see nudity. |

I've only seen all this on C4, and read about it all here.
On the C4 show, Tim seemed to be participating in this game? The Tim who feels like it's all a pantomime, the Tim who likes to come across as all responsible and noble. From the few seconds he was on the screen, he didn't even seem that drunk. So if Tim is the person I 'think' he is trying to come across as, why didn't he do something to stop it? I agree with those that have said you can't blame everyone else for Jade's actions. But on the other hand, one would have hoped, despite the drunkenness, that someone would have thought about the consequences and stopped her before it went too far. |

I never saw anyone of them holding her down and ripping the clothes from her back - in fact it took her a very short while to remove all clothing - grinning like a chesire cat and loving every second. Jade was not unhappy or embarassed so why are we acting like the morality police? Just because we wouldn't do it and we would be embarassed doesn't necesarily make Jade embarassed or humiliated does it? |

Whereas I have to say I didn't find Jade capering about in the nude at all funny I too find it hard to understand why the other HM's are to blame. I suspected that Jade was quite happy to strip when I first saw it on E4 as it happened this was confirmed when I saw it again on C4 last night. That girl was not upset at all.
I would also add that Alex tried to help her by shouting out names to her but she totally ignored him. It is also worth pointing out that she has posed nude before she even went into the house. I make no judgemwent about this, it is her choice absolutely but should be remembered befor we all fall into the trap of thinking that she is an innocent little flower being despoiled by her evil housemates. They, incidentally, were at least as drunk and except for Jonny not much older or more experienced than her. Mavis |

I agree with you totally Wishful - someone HM or BB should have stopped what was happening. I have complained to C4 at their allowing the total humilation of a human being be allowed to pass as entertainment. I did not find it funny and actually found the whole episode really upsetting for Jade. I realise that the other HMs should not have to nursemaid Jade as she is an adult, but come on a word of caution or the stopping of the game would have stopped what happened happen. Jade was depressed and miserable after her argument with PJ. I believe this argument contributed towards her drunken state, and the other HM should have shown some compassion, as they're not stupid and could all see she was in a state when she left the bedroom after the fight.

Jade did what anyone would when really drunk, when it got to the point of nakedness, the rest of the HMs pressured her to take her clothes off . she was squealing about how embarassed she was but they wern't having it, so wasn't pyhsically forced but they did make out that they would be prepared to do it if they lost too. Also, Jade did try and cover up but and Alex helped her but Kate & Jonny made a big fuss about throwing clothes into the middle. kate was the biggest enforcer of the naked rules as far as jade was concerned, even when jade begged to be allowed to keep her top over her bits kate shouted at her to throw the clothes in the middle, she also joined in with jonny, tim and pj making up names thatjade would find the most difficult. only when jade had been naked for 10mins and the lads had turned their attentions to kate did kate stop the game, the reason jade was angry with kate was that whilst covering jade up she was saying to jade that girls who get naked are slags...to which jade said "but you said i had take my clothes off kate" and quite rightly got pi**y with kate. I not Jade's biggest fan but when I was watching that I did feel that the others took the piss. If it was just the clothes it wouldn't be that bad, but deliberately making it harder for Jade to answer and then implying that she's a bad sport if she didn't comply with the rules is not nice. I've had to explain to my whole office what really happened that night cos the clips they were shown did not illustrate what really happened. |

Some people on here need to lighten up, both myself and my wife found it hilarious, as did everyone at work, mostly female!they know what they are getting into, Jade wanted to take her clothes off, why should the other housemates take the blame? Jade likes to be in the spotlight and will do anything to stay there, I think she deserves everything she gets, as do anyone who agrees to appear on a show of this nature, they are all told of the consequences prior to going in and Jade also knows what alcohol does to her!
As to people who ring CH4 to complain, please get a life, never understand people who do that, switch off and watch something else! |

Spendleb - did you watch it on E4 or C4 - the whole thing was a lot more sinister than the edited C4 version.

Did anybody notice that Tim on several occasions pretended to drink from the bottle whilst he was thinking. He was in no way going to let his guard down or join in the fun.
