According to one paper which I do not doubt.. will be

ANGELS by Robbie Williams

What do you all think..

and I hear Shayne will not be doing the Darkness either...

so food for thought as I have been told he will do Take That this week.... maybe wrong but on JS I am sure the paper is right.

GG

just been on another sabbitcal.. they are becoming a norm for me now but dont worry I learn some lessons.. so I WILL STICK TO THIS years contestants only... should say enough without anyone jumping on me..

Welcome back GG enjoy your 'break'

Louis said on Saturday he would let Shayne do the darkness song, but he didn't say when so I did wonder.

Don't know about JS so can't comment on that, only 2 days away though, well 1 now

Yep, I love this song, as do a lot of people. I'm hoping they pull it off, but the more I think about it, the more worried I am.

I think it will be either amazing or terrible.

It would be nice if they could do something different from the original version though. An acoustic version would be great, but they've already done that, so I don't know. In saying that though, they have managed to put their stamp on every song they've performed so far. Fingers crossed!

On the Xtra Factor on Saturday, Ben was asking Louis about the Darkness song, and Louis said that he would let him do it this week.

Obviously, he's had a change of heart. 'A Million Love Songs' is a much better choice for him anyway.

Journey south are one of my favourite acts but i really think this song may put them in the bottom 2
No one can pull of Robbie williams - Angel other than Robbie and the fact they are duo is going to make the song sound really odd IMO.
I really hope i'm wrong as they do not deserve to be in the bottom 2 but then look at last week with Maria. It really is down to song choices now and i just cant see the guys pulling this off.

I'm starting to feel sick

With any luck though, if they are in the bottom two, it will be with the Conways, so they'll stay.

i'm with you on this one

i think angels is a solo song and anyone who sings it will be compared to robbie

i hope you are wrong about it putting them in the bottom two

If they are on in the first four, it's a high possibility

I didn't think they could pull this week off after seeing them rehearse on Wednesday but, IMO, Andy and JS were the best on Saturday. Maybe they will surprise us again, but I don't think Angels is a good song for them

Shayne has performed in the first four three times now and Andy has also performed in the first four a few times. Journey South will be fine.

I've heard people in the pub sing Angels better than Robbie. The guy is just a great performer, not a great vocalist.

Journey South always look like they've just come from Art College.

Angels can be a lovely song, but is a bit too karaoke for Journey South.
I think the main problem with their song last Sat. was that there weren't enough harmonies in it, their voices sound so good together.
Personally, I would love them to sing"He ain't heavy, he's my brother".

and can only be classed as an improvement on Robbie

I must admit to feeling slightly apprehensive about JS singing Angels - but as I mentioned on their appreciation thread - if its a staple part of their set they must feel pretty confident about it - if its not and its another case of Simon thinking he knows best then....????

I know the last Stones track didn't go down well but personally I would like to hear them sing Wild Horses starting off with just them and an accoustic guitar then with full band backing starting on the 2nd verse - this would be a corker imo, even those that don't know the song ( ) will love it..

Not far wrong there. Chico would be an improvement.

Maria being in the bottom two had nothing to do with the song and everything to do with her not being as popular as the poor girl and her fans had been led to believe.
