"Check Operator Services"
Sorry if this has been posted before.
Ok, my phone won't let me ring or text anyway and displays the message in the title. I've done a bit of googling and found this and this but it's neither of them. The network is O2. The message centre number is +447802092035 (which is what it should be) and 'use GPRS' and 'reply via same centre' are both turned off. The phone is an 8310 if that helps? My poor phone

when was the last time you used the phone? if its more than 180days then theyve cut you off if its recently then it sounds like your phones knackered.

It was last used Monday PM, but I turned it on this morning and it's working fine. I blame O2.

O2
I suggest that you call 08705-214-000 and do the following:
Enter your mobile number when requested. When in the main menu select option 2. Then choose the option for advice on using your mobile. Then choose 'For advice on how to use text messaging'. The recorded information should read out the text message centre numbers. In 2002, O2 introduced an additional centre number for a large number of customers as the other one was becoming gridlocked, you maybe using the wrong one. or visit www.o2.co.uk and use the online help facility. |
