Help finding correct transmitter channels
amboy
15-11-2005
As a very poor beginner to dong anything like this and having looked at the FAq extensivel i am needing help in the following -

1) I live in Yorkshire but the transmitter a elmely moor is blocked by a church, I therefore need the bilsdale transmitter. The problem is everytime i carry out a manual tune or auto tune it keeps finding bilsdale for BBc1 and 2 but for all ITV and 4 and 5 it uses elmey moor thus picture keeps pixelating.

i have tried to find the numbers for each transmitter but dont realy know where they would be inputted
UHF?
channel no?

i even went to the hassle of changing the numbers in the installation menu and kept scanning channels to try and find a better number but all i managed to do was get annoyed

thanks
in advance

Delete all channels and do a manual search on the channel numbers listed here.

http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/tx_ne.html

and and avoid these here

http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/tx_n.html

When you do a manual search delete the ones you don't want to keep things tidy.

This site also lists upcoming software updates so it will be a good place to watch for the 9200 upgrades. I'm sure DS will have plenty of people talking about them when they happen.- http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/download_schedule.pl

It would have been nice to know if this worked or not, I guess it was just a hit and run posting from amboy.
