Chico is Welsh and I am certainly not supporting him.

What are you on about? Sharon is half Irish.

I don't think what Sharon said will influence the vote in favour of the conway sisters any more than Louis voting out Maria will. If the reaction in the studio on saturday night is anything to go by, they could actually lose votes over it which would be Louis' fault. i'm not a fan of the conway sisters and I wanted them to go saturday but it's not their fault Louis chose to save them. I really like Sharon and while she doesn't always think before she opens her mouth, that's how she is and i believe she's genuine. I guess you either like her or you don't but she never hides who she is and I admire her for that.

Its different in England, the show is set in England, most of the acts come from England - England is sort of seen as the rich relative by Ireland and such like - I don't want to get into a deep nationlistic argument here but I do think the Irish etc are much more partisan simply because they are not expected to do as well..”

I am patriotic to Wales, but I also have the intelligence to realise that in a talent show - if a non Welsh act is better than a Welsh one - that's the way it goes, I wouldn't take it personally! Maria was better than the Conways - nothing to do with nationality. That is how it should have been judged (in my humble opinion.)

Secondly, all I've been hearing about on the radio all week, is that Louis made a lousy decision. The Conways are viewed as an embarassment, or even a gammy version of the Corrs.

I haven't heard anybody expressing hatred towards Sharon because of her comments; I think most people found it funny, GOOD TV.. not a major political incident, or a slur on our nation.. lol. Don't expect protest votes just yet..

^ Just saw this.. Lol, wake up and smell the century! A rich relative?? And why on earth are we "not expected to do as well..."”

sorry probably haven't worded this very well, just that historically England is a lot more successful than Ireland in most things (Eurovision aside of course ) a lot of it I imagine is just that there are more people in England therefore bigger choice etc
