BB3 Posters: A Psychological Assessment
Well... it seems the popular wording for a thread round here
![]() OK its pretty sad that people watch BB3. It's even sadder that some of them then come onto this forum and post and post and post and post and get angry and post >> It's disturbing that some regulars have over 1000 posts!!! I include myself in all this ![]() So... why do we do it... what do we get out of it... will we stay on DS after BB3 ends???????? Over to BB3's battery of amateur psychologists What's your spin then people ![]() MGOM |

This is much more interesting than actually watching the programme.
I like the fact that we are all watching exactly the same thing yet see it in a different way. Not to mention my daily PJ is a complete waste of space rant Also there are some really nice people in here. LK - left her job so has to find some way to fill the time till the packing begins

I find it interesting that some people are apparently so stung by even jovial "sad" comments. Saddos.

My name is mromega and I am a Big Brother addict.
I stayed up till 5am the other night/morning just watching PJ, Kate & Jonny talking. I am sad/mad. I have over 2000 posts. But then again I have been on these forums for over 2 years! I do believe this thread was started in jest by a 'sad' BB3 addict : "MustGetOutMore" who probably should take that advice, . Don't take everything too seriously. The smilies are there for people to identify when they are joking as MGOM clearly was. |

I too stayed till 5am to watch PJ kate and jonny talking. and I dont even have the excuse to have to write about it... nope I just watched... My husband isnt too pleased... although I can squeeze him through the advert breaks... cant wait for it to finish and resume normal life again... what will I do with myself??? am not quite sure why I like watching it so much... it really is more like an addiction, like am "watching" it now... but not really caus am typing and dont have a clue of what they are doing... but still... they are there, next to me... making me feel waaaaarm... or a more serious note, am just a nosy person... I like watching people, it's the french woman in me... Always used to sit at cafe with friends watching others... its a fairly commun thing to do... but there, you dont even have to go out... all in the comfort of your own living room... watch peoples reactions, characters... People you would never mix with in real life... for example Jade, I would never mix with her, not that I really dont like her, we have v. little in commun, would never get to see a person like that... it's interesting, a bit like lab rats... So far so good !!
Those made entertaining reading
![]() I seriously ask myself 'why the hell am I watching this rubbish' I'm with Mireille - I'm a people watcher too - the species fascinates me and I get a lot out of watching the HM's perform. Similarly on the forum there are some VERY interesting interactions. There's a group of regulars who have started to get to 'know' each other and that's really nice. There's the people that pile in all self-righteous or stuffy or are downright rude ![]() I guess for may of us its the online meeting and interacting that's important - certainly is for me. BB is the vehicle but what I really like is the interaction on here. MGOM <Likes Richard Hoggart> |

I am a rather sad and pathetic person with no friends or social life. Watching Big Brother gives me something to do, and dissecting it with other people on the forum gives me the illusion of friends.
God, and that's true as well.......now I've depressed myself even further:'( |
