Like others I have noticed in this thread, I am also doing a thesis (well, a dissertation...), which means 'working' from home. I kid myself that having BB on E4 pootling away in the background is merely a relaxing hum, that analysing the dynamics of the HMs inter-relationships will facilitate a greater appreciation of a) social psychology, and b) modern, popular culture - all very useful for my academic research, of course! (The fact that my current study focus is adapations of Jane Austen's courtship plots, is completely beside the point!) I am also buying a house, supposed to be embroiled in the hassle of moving, and my husband has started a new job - and yet he still knows to ask me first and foremost how Alex is getting on. So sad.
Actually, Alex is my particular problem, I find. I don't fancy him at all, I often find him irritating beyind belief, but for some bizarre reason wish to know his precise location 24/7. If I hear his droney, dulcet tones, I have to listen. Simple. This is so annoying. I wish he had been evicted, as I'm kept in a perpetual state of suspense wondering what he'll do next.
