Steph becomes increasingly possessive over Adam and when he offers to drive Val to Hotten she decides that locking him in his room is the only way to keep them apart. As Adam bangs and shouts to be let out, Steph realises what she has done and runs out in humiliation.

Steph hates herself for losing control and later returns and quietly unlocks the door. Adam patiently asks her what is going on and Steph finally opens up to the doctor. Steph tells him about the way she treated her father and her jealously over his relationship with Shelly. But as Steph unveils the details of her turbulent past will she know where to stop?

Meanwhile, Jo plays cupid and leaves Dawn and Danny alone over lunch. Danny goes in for the kill and kisses Dawn, but a phone call from Scott ruins the moment and Dawn is left frustrated when Danny tells her that she needs to deal with Scott before anything more can happen between them.

Oh Steph Her and Val are dynamite. I love Val's look of total disbelief at how mad it all is, LOL.

That seemed a little bit forced and OTT... I hope they treat the next few days with a bit of sensitivity, otherwise i'm not gonna enjoy this storyline at all.

Val and Steph are soap heaven. I love it. Great to see Steph opening up. Such a fab character and Lorraine plays it perfectly.

Well I thought that pretty damn excellent. Lorraine did a great job tonight. Shouting "get lost" at Val was perhaps OTT, but the rest was played extremely well, especially the scenes with Adam, who has also improved a great deal.

Steph is such a perfect character. I loved how they explored her past and her feelings again tonight. It was all done so believably and to a point where you felt a kind of empathy for Steph. And Lorraine has developed SO much, brilliant tonight.

If only Danny and Yawn weren't there to break it up :yawn: . But even their scenes were alright.

Obviously after tonight Paddy will find out about the cows, but I'd like to know what he's going to do...not that there's much he CAN do, unless he gets the Briggs' against them.

Everytime I see Sadie's botoxed face I have this huge urge to whack it!

Marlon and his hand gestures were funny as usual.

Steph may be interesting but is clearly not a nice person. I am totally bemused as what the Doc sees in her. This surely must be some sort of patient study.

Loved Vals face tonight and her running away from Phycho Steff,

But I think she does have a great personality...when she's being witty and bubbly, she can be one of the most charismatic people in the show. So I can certainly see the attraction. Of course she's just as charismatic when being evil, but in a different way .

I think Adam is genuine, but that's not to say he's not a bit "queer" himself. And Steph hasn't really done anything BAD since he arrived...

I do not disagree with you description of St Steph. It's just that I do not find her to be a ' Nice person'. You know I prefer ' Nice people'. This is why I prefer to describe her as ' Interesting' Now Val is also not a model citizen, but, for me, her comedy makes up for her bad deeds.
