I can't believe that so many people are being so cruel about Jade because of the way she looks. Surely we are all adults and don't need to stoop to such a childish level, I mean it's hardly her only bad point is it? I think that one of the main reasons we lost Allison was because of her size which was a shame because she had the makings of some real entertainment for us which is what BB is about. I'm certainly no oil painting and doubt very much that everybody else here is drop dead gorgeous so who are we to judge. (especially with the hard line that seems to be taken whenever a HM is dicussed in relation to their sex/race on these boards

Your on about Nicohla. I agree she was a bit of a munter, I think Jade looks better than Caroline as well (theyre both equally annoying though).

Who cares what people look like. Im sure we all have faults in our looks which people would comment on.
There not in there for their looks, but for the different personalities. Alison would have still been in there, if it hadn't been for Davina telling the nation the percentage of votes prior to the lines closing. I thought she was great and was proud of her size. She could laugh at herself which is a great quality to have.
Jade might not be a supermodel, but she has brought the most entertainment be it good or bad. So I do think it is very unfair to judge on the way people on the way they look.

Jade's model photos in her home with the bit in there with her mum showed she _can_ look very nice...(did I really say that?)...who'd like to be judged on how they look when they first get up, are really tired, drunk as a lord or otherwise not at your best...
I too think we should look beyond looks when forming opinions of housemates as that betrays a very shallow view....unfortunately, this is where my defence of Jade falls down rather....but looks ain't everything folks...they're not even that important in the big scheme of things.

Well I wouldn't say she was that fat. She'd do better if she wore less revealing clothes.

I have often found that it is the personality that makes someone attractive. When "beautiful" people are meanspirited and nasty it shows on their face and they no longer look beautiful.
IMO, if Jade was a nicer person I don't think any of us on this forum would think she was ugly. When she is sitting quitely in the garden in the sun she often looks quite attractive. But when she is in the diary room making poisonous remarks about the people she is nominating (e.g. Sophie) she looks incredibly ugly.

What did she ever do to you?? She's not fat as such just a bit overweight and she is not ugly. How many women in this country are size 14? She is not the prettiest thing in the world but she isn't ugly. I am not a fan but sometimes people go too far.

But she did set herself up for this by sniping about Kate and Sophie's looks, and claiming she was more attractive. As for whether she is attractive, there's only one really objective measure of proof, and in my household, she's conspicuously failed to rise to the occasion! (which makes her less sexy than quite a large number of inanimate objects, never mind most women).
Poor thread ugly or not who cares the world is a mish mash if anything well done C4 for putting more normal looking individuals into BB household.
