Get a more generous wife for starters.
You get what you pay for,but tesco/asda will have some bargains. For £50 more you could get a high quality model from Pioneer or Panasonic |

Go to ebay and buy this Philips DVD recorder for 90 quid.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PHILIPS-DVDR70...QQcmdZViewItem I bought this one a year ago (for 170 quid) and it's great: robust, durable, responsive and plays every kind of DVD I have thrown at it!! The instructions are bit hard to follow but it's worth the trouble. I linked it to my video recorder and transferred all my video tape material onto DVD. The video recorder's gone to my brother's, so now all my film & television is on DVD. Not more video tape in my house - it all went to a recycling centre to be crushed up into road cones or something!! |
