All of these new characters seem to have very few links, why havent they introduced a new family instead of one-off characters?

Good question, now Pat's got no one living with her she could sell that house get a nice flat and a new family could move in there sounds like a good idea I reckon she doesn't need all that room by herself

There is a new family - The Wicks. Well, new extended relatons of an old family.

Deano, Kevin & Carly Wicks will move into number 31 (Pat's house). I don't know if Billy will move into the Vic after Sharon, Dennis & Sam have gone. I assume he will as Pat's gonna need room in her house.

How many bedrooms are there in the Vic anyway? I always thought there were 3 yet they've got 5 staying there at the moment. Peggy, Phil, Sam, Sharon & Dennis.

I'm looking forward to the arrival of the wicks.
Anything that gives Pat more screen time is great IMO.

Probably as many rooms as the Slaters tardis
