On BBLB.

Why on earth is she bothering with Alex?! Don't get so bloody upset woman!!

He is NOT worth it!!

Davina was out of line implying that Alex fancied her - I think she may have raised her hopes.

Alex is a fickle **** if ever I saw one.

Davina was out of line but she was probably needing to counteract the booing with an interesting/love story. As for Adele, she told Alex she had a girlfriend so he saw her as a no-go area. But I think he & kate make a lovely couple & the fact that they are in the bath together is clearly getting to the other 3 guys, who are making the excuse that A&K are drunk!

Glad to see Alex is like all the other boys. The marriage of convenience with Adele is over, move onto the next one.

Although I do think it will benefit Kate more than Alex, but hey who cares he's getting his back scrubbed.

And who they are going to nominate next ;o)

Kate and Alex are the two that make it to the last two (it is in the script).

Did Adele get really upset, I better watch this, anyway Adele told Alex that she had a girlfriend, it's not Alex's fault!

And that would really be a shame because it will make Adele isolate more her feelings towards falling in love. She genuinly was over the moon by the prospect of dating Alex.

I really believe that Alex iss the first male that she felt she can finally be sexually intimate with.

Hang on, have I missed something, but Adele has a girlfriend, unless she's planning a threesome!

Like I said earlier...........

I don't think Alex ever fancied Adele I believe his friendship with her was his way of reflecting the homophobic comments made about him from PJ and Spencer from himself. He is more full on with Kate than he ever was with Adele (and yes I know about the kissing). I just hope that Adele is keeping up with the C4 website to know how he really thinks about her. As he is doing a brilliant job trying to brush off his friendship with her and make out that it wasn't all it was seemed.

Alex is not being truthful to himself regarding the housemates, one minute his agreeing with Tim about them being childish and acting up to the camera and then he goes and does exactly the same thing. And for what it's worth at least Tim is not going back on himself about what he said about them being childish. I think Tim has also realised that Alex is playing up. So far since Adele left Tim has been more flattering regarding missing Adele. As far as Alex is concerned "Adele who?".

I hope Adele changes her mind about turning up at his eviction as I believe he will ignore her. Davina totally misled Adele into thinking that Alex fancied her. He told Tim the day of her eviction that he had pretty much the same views as her and now is doubting their friendship. If she did say anything bad about him Jade would of been the person she would have told and you know Jade by now would have told Alex, as she is loyal to no one but herself.

I wish him and Kate the best of luck, it's just a shame he had to use someone else in the process.

Not necesarily, she has gone down in my estimation after falling for Alexs' transparent shift in tactics. Almost makes me feel sorry for Adele? Well I did say almost.

okay - if you were Alex what would you do? Having spent the past 2 weeks permanently super-glued to a woman you liked immensely (for arguments sake) - she is then evicted to huge boos from the crowds.

Trying to think what it must be like for him here - he must have been shattered - everything he thought was 'true' was obviously not. He presumed that Jade would go. So what has Adele done for the crowds to hate her? He's thinking. If I were him - I would immediately do the biggest charm offensive I could with the rest of the group to show them and the viewing public that I'm a nice person and to try and distance myself from Adele who was very unpopular.

It doesn't take a genius to work out - Mmmm Adele really unpopular - I agreed with most of what she said and behaved in a similar way to here - mmm quick better change.

Adele was upset, but she was very nice about Kate, telling Dermot that she is a lovely girl, which was good to see.

Please can we have no further allegations of sexual abuse, that kind of speculation is not to anyone's benefit.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Surely its just a view for explaining her character. As i said i dont agree.

But a forum should be about peoples views

What gives you the write to ask to close a room down, cos you disagree with someones views.

I dont agree with them, but respect him for speaking his mind.

How can u have a proper forum, with just views that you are happy with??????????
EVERYONE has the right to push that alert button. My grip is fine thanks. In fact you could alert DS mods to my posting and ask for my post to be deleted or have any threads of mine closed.

I've worked with people who've been sexually abused and can assure you that the last thing any of them would want is people who know nothing about them typing crap in internet forums.
Its way out of line to make such comments about someone as if its the same as if eg Tim is arrogant or not.

Sorry to Beth - this post took me time to compose and post......

Take back the get a grip comment. sorry

But I wouldn't press the button cos you have the right to say whatever you want. Just as much as the person who made the comments in the first place.

Not saying there is anything right with sexual abuse, I fel for anyone who has been. But to shut up shop and not discus issues like this makes it a taboo issue to talk about and it becomes this pushes it further under the sheets...

Sorry..wasnt meant to be a pun.

Storm,

I don't think anyone would mind talking about the issue alone.

It's just that this discussion of it, isn't objective and is tied into a wholly unsubstanciated allegation of abuse about an actual person.
Can you imagine if this theory of Adele's sexuality was further distributed as fact on other boards as can happen in a chinese whispers way, for example, the fallacy of Tim and Alex knowing each other before BB, or the still unsubstanciated article about Jonny.

It's right to discuss it, but wrong to have it attached to a named person, especially one who has denied it.

We live in a society of freedom of speech.

Realise its a sensitive issue. The theory was simply put forward. I dont like seeing people's views muted.

Dont think you can have a good debate without all peoples views being heard. When you begin to select what views are allowed you make a debate artificial and irrelevent.

No one has to take part if they dont want to, and no one has made a statement that implies the case in point to be anyhthing more than a possible reason for why she is how she is. If someone said "She has been abused" without evidence, then I could understand there views being muted from this arena.

Freedom of speech and debate is fine as long as it doesn't impose on other people's safety or freedom. Grave allegations like the one made earlier today, because of their direction at an individual and her family, based on no evidence and having the potential to mushroom and to damage real lives and real reputations, impose on both.

Debate about the issue - fine. Encouraging speculation about an instance of abuse where there is no evidence, where it has been denied flatly by the person involved and where continuing speculation has a real chance of hurting innocent people is NOT 'freedom' - it's actually something akin to libel. If people feel strongly enough about this issue they should contact organisations or join boards where they can do something to help the REAL victims of abuse, and not involve someone who has clearly stated it has not occoured, and her family, in a potentially damaging campaign of chinese whispers.

I won't be posting any more on this subject.

This all reminds me about the Chris Morris doc about paedophiles. Hysteria cos its a taboo subject!

If you read what he said, its not libel.

he has said nothing wrong.

Everyone caught up in being PC. Its not wrong to talk about it

This forum really is becoming somewhat of a joke; that is of course my opinion but the dictionary would tend to agree, "a public meeting or assembly for open discussion". That is how a forum is defined, I could go on further to define open and pubilc and to give the guidelines of free speech however most people I imagine will be familiar with those already.

For the comments above my post I imagine will be deleted or censored or my user account frozen.

This forum though is one of the best BB forums on the web; nay, one of the best entertainment forums on the web, it was home to ITV digital coverage and plays a big part of most peoples BB coverage at least it does for me. Which is why it rialls me to see censorship of any kind in here, after all it is an internet forum, a place for total anonymity if so desired and should be treated as such. A place where views which cannot be aired in normal conversation should be discussed frankly and honestly, a place where issues should not be seen as issues anymore but as topics of discussion.
Okay so DS don't want to lose their press pass or whatever so articles are confined to links or whatever to outside websites but that shoudl be the only cencorship as far as I am concerned.
We see evidence of BB production trying to influence our views of the housemates via selective editing on the C4 highlights shows, why should the forum do the same?
Okay so if someone posts a message that contains a racist joke which a housemate says, let the joke stay online and let people form their own opinions of it and the circumstances under which it was said. Racism, Homophobia and other such cultural and otherwise enviromental hatreds and phobias shoudl stand as BB is supposed to be a reprensentation of society. Besides, Tims comments about the disabled parking spots were posted on this website, are digital spy making an assesment on behalf of its users as to what counts as severe attacks and if they wish to be pedantic about the issue lets make one further assumption - are they deciding which groups of people should be treated as minorities and censoring as such. I say minorities because homophobia, racism and the like are usually forms of hatred towards minorities which the disabled, the elderly, the unemployed and many more people fall under.

I give up trying to reason now as I realise I stopped making sense after the first few words, I just felt I had to write a few words on teh subject, my apologies in advance.
