Even Sharon's own husband can't stand the show:

That all sounds a tad too articulate for Ozzy. I bet he was reading it from a piece of paper.

"It's about killing music to make light entertainment. It should be about music and talent but it's not."

Thats more or less what Steve said isn't it? I think the Mirror maybe getting their quotes muddled up or something

Gotr to love the mirror:

Here is what Steve said a few weeks back as quoted on DS:

"Steve Brookstein Slates X-Factor

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

X Factor winner Steve Brookstein has launched a scathing attack on the show after being dropped by his record label.

His comments came as Simon Cowell admitted that the runners-up, Louis Walsh's G4, were the real winners of last year's series.

"The show gives you a platform but then pulls the rug from under your feet by making you sign to a certain record label and having no say in what happens next," Brookstein told the Daily Mail. It should be about music and talent but it's not.

"The X Factor is all one big theatre - it's turning music into the WWF. It's about killing music to make light entertainment. I've now got to break away from The X Factor, which is fundamentally cheese and regarded as so by anyone and everyone in the industry."

"It should be about music and talent but it's not.""

And here is what Ozzy said:

"Ozzy told Nicky Horne on radio station Planet Rock that he's not a big fan of the ITV1 show. "X Factor is one big theatre, it's turning music into the WWF.

"It's about killing music to make light entertainment. It should be about music and talent but it's not.""

" Louis was booed by shoppers yesterday as he skulked backstage when Westlife turned on the Christmas lights in Oxford Street, London "

Those who were there to see Westlife and booed Louis need to remember that without Louis, they would not have their precious Westlife.

Not sure that article is accurate.

When Sharon took her group to the Oz mansion in America, Ozzie was interviewed and said he enjoyed the show. He even watched the acts perform in his garden and gave Brenda a kiss - if I remember correctly.

Anything Ozzy says, or mumbles more like it, is all right by me

I agree with the sentiments, whoever said it!

He probably didn't know what was going on and thought Brenda was his great aunt Edith or someone

I also remember he was absolutely shocked that Chico had jumped into the pool with a live mike!

lol, you have to love Ozzy.. perhaps he thought is was nothing to do with a show for tv, just a birthday present for him where Sharon had brought in some singers to entertain him..

That's right, it should be all about music. They'll have the Conway Sisters biting the heads off bats next.
