Don't know about the lyrics, but apparently he's singing it on the show on Saturday so we'll find out then

Any lyrics involving the words "I'm finished", "going home", "the last time", "that's all, folks" or "goodbye" would be fine with me!

This comment from another thread made me laugh so I thought I'd reproduce it here.

Fabulous!!! Can you imagine what the slanging-each-other-off bit of the song would be like?! Incidentally, anyone got any other ideas for some X Factor Christmas Collaborations?

I have a very strong feeling that the X Factor winner, whose single is being rushed out in time for Christmas no 1, will be bitterly dissappointed when they discover that this Christmas it's Chico Time!!!

Not a great fan myself, but he has charm, and he is growing on people, and he certainly has the novelty value for a Christmas No 1... dont you think??

So would "bye for now", "won't see you again", "I'm quitting" or "don't like Simon anymore so I'm off" !

Perhaps the Cheeky Girls, Nadia and the Crazy Frog can all team up with Chico to do a Xmas Record so we can go for the worst novelty record of all time! Something along the lines of the Band Aid record with 'It's Chico time' replacing 'It's Christmas time'

We'll all know where to look for Chico singles in HMV - it won't be rock, pop, easy listening etc it'll be in the novelty act category.

I have the perfect song for Chico. at Christmas and predict it will be a great hit

Sung to the tune of Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer

Chico the entertainer
Had a very dodgy voice
And if you ever heard it
You would say ‘oh what a noise.’

All of the doubting viewers
Used to laugh and call him names
They never gave poor Chico
Any chance of winning fame

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Sharon came to say
“Chico, with your pecs so fine
You have won, it’s Chico time!!”

Then all the viewers loved him
And had to eat their words you see
Chico’s number one record
Will go down in History.

ROFL

You're obsessed with Chico aren't you XFG? Someone who takes time out to work on stuff like this must be incredibly enamoured.

Ok... (Chico) Time to be silly...

Chico's roasting on an open fire,
He's prone to bruising poor Kate's toes,
Poor covers sung by Chico, not a choir
And Sharon chose him for this show.

Everybody knows he's a turkey in this TV show
And he helps the ratings with all his might.
Will his song choice guarantee him to go
We will find out Saturday night.

They know that Simons on his way -
He's loaded his vocal gun, by the way is Louis gay?
And ev'rymother's child is gonna spy
To see if Nicholas really knows "how to fly".

and so I'm offering this simple song
To kids from one to ....errr.....two
Although its been said many times,
In many shows: "It's Chico Time" for you.
