DS Don Beech (Billy Murray) Wanted for corruption, he fled abroad to Australia to escape imprisonment. He returned to organise a robbery, but was captured and imprisoned. He escaped again and is currently on the run (exact location or circumstances unknown). Reports have come in of him being sighted in the East end of London.

LOL so its true-Johnny Allen is the same character as Don Beech, under a different name [:P"] . I reckon when he leaves Eastenders next year (if hes not killed off), he'll be back for some trouble in The Bill.

No, Beech escaped DI Manson and DS Hunter while he was being transferred to another prison.

I didn't watch the Bill much back then, and still don't, but maybe they wrote that in for comedy value on the site? Cool either way!
