Don't reply if you hate him as I'm sure nearly everyone does (myself included). Just wondered if anyone actually liked him - and if so WHY???

Check the DS popularity poll. That should answer your question. Tim in on 0% after over 7000 votes

Tim has the most amount love than any other housemate. The trouble is that there is only one person that likes him - himself.

I have never noticed anyone on any forum say they actually like Tim. Some say they do not understand why he is hated so much, or what has he done so wrong in comparison to other housemates. This includes people that went to uni with him, but even they never ever say they actually like him !

I like having him in the house!
Don't dislike him, but he is not my favourite, as I would prefer either Kate or Alex to win.
I find him quite amusing with his hair, and his bluster about how much he earns and the car he drives etc. His tears in the diary room were one of the best moments LOL.
I like him as a housemate, as he entertains, though I must admit I do laugh at him, rather than with him.
Having said all that, I want to see him nominated and evicted. I still feel cheated by the drawing of lots, as it has deprived us of two great eviction nights for Tim and Jade.

At least he's not Jade, that's always a big plus. I hear Saddam Hussein has his oppressed populous chant this at those big rallies he holds.

I certainly don't think he is an evil person and I think he has the potential to be a likeable guy - hopefully the BB experience will bring him down to earth and can help him to change in a way that doesn't attract such such anomosity - if he decides he doesn't like thee way he is viewed (although it seems that changing one's character is now commiting the cardinal sin of being 'false' so maybe he's better off staying as he is!)

Realising that PJ is more intelligent than him despite his common education, and realising that Kate has no interest in him despite his half-decent car. It must have dawned on him that he is the only one who hasn't really enjoyed himself in there and perhaps being happy requires more than just being content with your own sense of self-importance, social standing and hair-allignment.

RedHotPawn - (first post - please be gentle with me).

All Tim needs is a real good kicking I'm sure that will straighten him out. And based on his popularity I'm sure he will get one when he gets out of the house.

after 7000 odd votes, Tim is still on 0% on DS poll popularity poll
That means that the most votes he has, (assuming they round to the nearest whole point that he must be less than 1/2%.)
is 44 votes at the most..out of 7000!.

hes history when he goes up for nomimation next week (and he will be up).

I dunno. jade might get voted out instead and then we'll have to suffer this ginger-headed goon a while longer. I loathe him - and has there ever been a man more bitter at being rejected than he is at Kate's lack of interest in the contents of his pants?

I couldn't believe his diary room comments on Kate - "She's got it together with several of the other HMs. She's easy".

Sorry??? Did I miss something pretty sensational or is Tim a pathetic and deluded fantasist?

Well, I liked him a lot when he came into the house, even though I still can't understand why he is there. I think that at his best, he can be relaxed company, a gentle tease and quite charming. At his worst, he's intolerant, thoughtless, arrogant and blind to his own faults. But I think he is also insecure, hates the way he looks and is desperate for acclaim.

He's been consistently at his worst in the house for the past couple of weeks, but I am still prepared to believe there's a nice guy in there somewhere under all the crap. Plus I think he has nice legs...

Oh, and I would rather spend an evening with him than either Jonny or PJ.

amd. If Tim and Jade go up for eviction, Im almost certain Tim will go. I cannot see him staying at all.
I think when its down to the last 4 though, that Jade will be the first out of the 4 to go. Unless they pull a surprise eviction thingy of course.

Kate to win!

I like Tim. He is certainly the most sensible and witty of the remaining housemates unless you get off on vulgarity.

I think I'd prefer an evening sipping champagne in a posh restaurant with Tim than having a hose pipe turned on my face, being dumped in the pool, smacked in the head and getting carpet burn.
And I'm pretty sure that Tim could get through the evening without once scratching his privates or telling me about the fun times he puked and sh*t himself all at once.

Not that I wouldn't end up having a good row with Tim over the caviar if he spouted any Tory nonsense at me, though.

What I want to see is Tim's reaction to Kate when PJ is asked to leave the BB house. Will he then start to suck up to Kate the same way he started to suck up to Alex when he knew that Alex was really popular?

He seems to love to slag off Kate (she did not respond to his advances and to be honest who would!!) and has made Kate bashing his sport of the day in the diary room. I would love to get him out. So what Kate called him arrogant well the truth hurts she was right and I want Kate to win.

I quoted this in a way because I agree with every word.

But before replying "yes I like Tim" - can I add that I like all bar one of the remaining contestants in thier own way. The saint, formerly known as werepig, sadly I can find little to like and nothing to pity about.

On this forum it seems at times it is all so polarized: love or hate. There are several exceptions amongst the regular posters but much of the time it is like listening to the tabloid campaign writers.

Tim is far from my favorite HM but in his own way he has some decent qualities. If I had to choose which of them I would feel most comfortable with in polite company it would be a close run thing between him and Kate. Kate has got used to having money around her. Unlike Tim she does not brag about it --- probably she is embarrased inside it was sponged from Charlie.

Tim / Kate. Both have shown the ability to act respectibly (for Kate the emphasis is on act). Neither would irritate me much, because they both give the other HMs room to breathe / time to think.

But if I have to thank Tim for one thing, it was his classic comment about the others acting like they were in a pantomime. Why shoot the messanger: it was soo exactly true. Clowns are funny for a while but behind the facade is often a sad bitter old man ... and rather than continue to Jonny ...
